Mixed Experience — Several Issues During My StayMy overall experience at the hotel was mixed, but honestly more on the disappointing side. The room itself was reasonably clean, but I faced several issues during my stay, and in many cases, I had to personally find someone and get them resolved instead of the staff noticing and handling them.The bathroom had a leakage problem during our stay, and one of the taps was broken. The bathroom was otherwise clean, but it had an unusual smell. The AC was also leaking water drop by drop onto the bed, which was quite irritating.The bedsheet and pillows had visible stains, even though the room overall looked clean. The almirah was very unclean, and I wouldn't feel comfortable keeping clothes inside it.The TV remote wasn't working either. I had to find a worker myself and ask them to replace the remote. These are basic things that should ideally be checked before a guest enters the room.The manager was not very helpful or proactive when we raised these issues. It often felt like I had to take the initiative myself to get things fixed.However, I do want to give credit to the owner, who was a good and responsive person. When we informed him about the bathroom leakage, he quickly called a plumber to fix it. So, whenever the issue reached the owner, he seemed willing to take action.One more thing worth mentioning is that there were writings on the wall that appeared to have been left by previous couples. This may not bother everyone, but it doesn't give a very family-friendly impression and should probably be cleaned.Overall: The hotel has potential, and the owner seems responsive, but housekeeping, maintenance, and management need significant improvement. Basic things like checking the AC, TV remote, taps, bedsheets, almirah, and bathroom should be done before guests arrive. I hope the management works on these issues because they can make a big difference to the guest experience.
