Solo Traveller • Jul 2026We reserved a room at Daksh resort and amusement park for 27.06.2026. When we were about to leave for our jungle safari, the hotel manager/receptionist Mr. Ashok Makwana confronted us around 8:25 AM and nearly threatened to make us check out immediately, even though the official checkout time was 11:00 AM. Our safari was scheduled from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and we clearly told Mr. Ashok Makwana that we would be back well before checkout time. Despite this, he acted arrogantly and kept arguing. He also falsely claimed that we couldn't go on the safari because the reporting time had passed and asked for proof of our booking, as if we were lying. Due to the unnecessary argument and delay caused by the receptionist, we arrived at the safari counter just in time. If he hadn't wasted our time, we would have arrived comfortably before the reporting time. We returned to the hotel from the safari before 11 and checked out on time. This was a very unprofessional and stressful experience, and the staff's behavior negatively affected our trip.
