I booked the hotel only for the pool but after reaching the property the pool is under maintenance. The Agoda page and hotel staff didn’t mention the pool is under maintenance. Don’t book your stays using Agoda this app doesn’t even have customer care number to call or address the issue. This hotel building is old and the in house service takes hours to provide even crockery. There don’t have any channels paid to watch TV. If you are travelling with any kids this property is terrible.

Stay was eventful with the room door lock getting blocked and not detecting any keycards. Had to be sorted out by the engineering department while me and family stay out stuck.

I am a frequent guest at Dimora and have always had pleasant experiences, particularly at the Thiruvananthapuram property. Based on those positive stays, I chose Dimora Kannur during my recent visit.Unfortunately, my experience at Dimora Kozhikode was disappointing. I checked in late at night after a long drive and went to bed immediately. Around 3:00 a.m., I woke up sweating because the air conditioner in my room was not functioning. A technician attended to the issue, but it could not be resolved. I was then shifted to another room, only to find that the AC problem persisted there as well. The issue appeared to be resolved only around 5:00 a.m., by which time my sleep and comfort had already been significantly affected.What was even more disappointing was that, despite formally raising the complaint, there was no meaningful follow-up, acknowledgment, or resolution from the hotel management. As a regular guest who has supported the Dimora brand over the years, I expected better customer care and a more proactive response.I continue to appreciate the quality of other Dimora properties, but this particular experience at Dimora Kannur fell well below expectations. I hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and improves both maintenance standards and post-complaint customer service.
