We stayed for 4 nights and we were delighted with the room. It was spacious and well ventilated. Room was very clean, tidy and bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The staff were very accommodating. The guesthouse is about 10-15 minute walk to the ashram and there are good restaurants nearby. The free use of laundry machine and a space to dry our clothes on the rooftop was a bonus part of the stay specially for us who are travelling around India for a month. They also have a lovely rooftop view of Arunachala.
We spent a nice couple days at Dwaraka Guest House. It’s located on a quiet side street but still close to food and the main road. All of the staff were very kind and helpful, we received help from Vignesh G and two young ladies. All spoke both Tamil and English. The room was the cleanest we have stayed in during our trip! We unexpectedly had to extend our stay and catch a night bus to the next city, the staff accommodated us easily and even called the bus company to confirm our pick up.
We had a wonderful time at this lovely guesthouse. It is situated on a peaceful street near the main road. Even though our visit was just for one night, the staff greeted us warmly and ensured we had all we needed throughout our stay. Many thanks!
