Floating Heaven Group of Houseboats

Wonderful experience! This houseboat is stunning and comes highly recommended. We enjoyed a very cozy stay with outstanding hospitality. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly with traditional Kashmiri kahwa and tasty cake, which immediately made us feel at home. The homemade meals were fresh, genuine, and incredibly tasty. The rooms were immaculate, pleasantly scented, and stocked with clean towels. The beds were very comfy, the carpets spotless, and the decor was lovely. A highlight was the absence of any unpleasant lake odor—it was clean and surrounded by beautiful lotus and lily flowers, offering breathtaking views. The hosts also organized a shikara ride, photographers, and a souvenir vendor to visit the houseboat on request, adding to the convenience and making the stay even more memorable. If you want the ultimate houseboat experience in Kashmir, this is the place to pick. Our visit was truly memorable, and we will surely return. We spent two nights in June 2026, and everything was truly fantastic. The houseboat is situated in a calm and serene spot, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The rooms were lovely, cozy, and spotless. The service was top-notch, and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed dinner on the houseboat both nights, and each dish was incredibly tasty. Staying at this lovely boathouse was definitely one of the highlights of our Kashmir journey. It was spotless, serene, cozy, and provided breathtaking views that enhanced every moment. The hospitality was outstanding, and we felt completely at ease during our visit. Many thanks to MUSHTAQ Bhai! What added to our wonderful trip was the affordable taxi service they organized for us throughout our travels. A big shoutout to Mehraj Bhai😎, who is a fantastic person and a great guide. He showed us all the beautiful spots in Kashmir, shared local knowledge, and ensured we had the best experience possible. He also introduced us to the well-known Kashmiri cuisine, which made our trip even more delightful. If you're planning to visit Kashmir, I strongly suggest staying here and using their taxi service with Mehraj Bhai. It was an unforgettable adventure, and we look forward to returning!

I had an amazing experience staying at this boathouse in Srinagar. The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff were very welcoming throughout our visit. The food stood out for me—it was incredibly tasty and one of the best aspects of the stay. The property is well-kept, clean, and beautifully maintained. The interiors have a lovely charm, and the whole place is very picturesque. Another plus is that it isn't crowded, offering a calm and relaxing environment. I particularly suggest choosing Nagin Lake over Dal Lake. Nagin Lake offers a more open, tranquil, and less busy setting. Although it is a bit farther from the city center, the peaceful vibe makes it well worth the distance. In summary, it was a memorable stay with delicious food, excellent hospitality, efficient management, and stunning surroundings. I strongly recommend Floating Heaven Boathouse to anyone visiting Srinagar.
