Moustache Srinagar

Overall, my stay was good. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and hygiene was not an issue. The staff was polite, and the property itself is decent. However, there are a few important things that families and couples should know before booking. If you are traveling with your partner or family, especially with female members, I would not recommend this place. During my stay, the common areas were occupied mostly by groups of intoxicated men, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. It did not feel like a family-friendly environment, and my companion felt unsafe because of the constant staring and overall vibe.Another major issue was the dining arrangement. The owner does not serve food in the room, even though the room tariff is significantly higher than the market rate and the food is also priced at almost double the usual cost. Instead, guests are asked to come to the common dining area to eat. This may not be a problem if you are traveling with a group of men, but for couples or families, having to dine in a crowded common area with intoxicated guests can be very uncomfortable. The location is another drawback. The property is situated deep inside a residential colony with extremely narrow and congested lanes. Reaching it with your own car requires confident driving skills, and maneuvering through the streets is difficult. There is also a parking issue, so I would advise against bringing your own vehicle unless you are comfortable driving in very tight spaces. To summarize, if you are a group of male friends looking for a budget stay, this property is a reasonable option because the rooms are clean and the stay is otherwise comfortable. However, I would strongly suggest that couples, families, and anyone traveling with female companions look for another place. I would also avoid this property if you are planning to travel with your own car due to the difficult access and parking problems.

I felt deceived when booking this resort. They said no upfront payment was needed, but as the dates got closer, they started demanding money or threatened to cancel the reservation. Don't trust booking.com either. I booked two rooms for over Rs 20000 on June 26, but these rooms are usually available for half that price. Be cautious. There was no food service available. The owner said they would come by but never showed up.

I enjoyed a fantastic 3-night stay at Mustache Srinagar, which was definitely one of the best parts of my Kashmir trip. The place has a very welcoming and positive energy. The staff, management, and other guests create a friendly environment that makes you feel right at home from the start. Special thanks to Adil at reception, who went out of his way to ensure my comfort. He helped me secure a motorbike for my trip to Gurez Valley, offered great local advice, assisted with laundry, and was always ready to help. What stood out most was that he arranged breakfast for me at 5:30 AM so I could leave early, knowing food options along the way are scarce. His dedication and kindness truly enhanced my experience. If you're visiting Srinagar and want a place with excellent hospitality, supportive staff, and a cozy vibe, I strongly suggest Mustache Srinagar. Many thanks to the whole team for making my stay unforgettable.

The bestest stay in the entire srinagar. ’’Loved everything and the host (Abrar and Saddam bhai) were really welcoming. They are truly amazing and fun . Had the best time here with my friends . Going to come here again ’’’’??Please do visit this place and have the amazing time of your life ’?

It was a great stay. The location is beautiful with Mountain View from the room. But the downside is that it is far away from the city center, making it difficult to get cabs for conveyance - that’s a trade off you should be aware of. The staff is very helpful and the food is amazing - we tried veg food and can speak for it.
