Extremely disappointed with our stay at Foxoso La Alphanso Goa. The property is marketed as a premium beachfront hotel and charges prices comparable to branded resorts, but the reality is completely different.The rooms were poorly maintained, bathroom mats were dirty, taps were old and worn out, and the overall cleanliness and upkeep were far below expectations. Even the pool water was dirty and clearly not maintained properly, which was very disappointing, especially while travelling with family and kids.The photos uploaded online look heavily edited and create a completely misleading impression of the property. What is shown online and what you actually get are completely different.We had booked the hotel for 3 nights, but since we checked in late at night, we had no option but to stay for that one night. By the very next morning, we decided to check out because the experience was that disappointing. Paying around ’32,000 for the rooms felt completely wasted.We specifically chose this property because of the beachfront location, thinking it would be ideal for our family and kids. But what’s the point of charging premium prices if basic hygiene, maintenance, and quality standards are missing?A special note to the owner,’ if you cannot provide the facilities and standards that guests are paying for, then at least don’t charge prices comparable to reputed branded hotels just because the property is beach-facing.The location alone cannot justify such pricing. Overall, it was a total waste of money and a highly disappointing experience. Definitely not worth the amount charged.

I had stayed 2 nights with my family, perfect location, decent size pool, beachfront resort, that was the reason I chose this property. Rooms are also clean, but need renovations specially Taps, sinks.The only biggest disappointment was food, breakfast wasn’t upto the mark considering Goa, we were expecting western breakfast. Only Indian food was served that too very basic quality, fruits wasn’t looking fresh neither sandwiches. My kids wanted pancakes or waffle,muffins, cakes neither was served.Other than food everything is really good.Thanks for serving and treating us nicely.

I had a wonderful stay at Foxoso Hotels. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff was very polite, supportive, and always ready to help with any request, which made the stay even more pleasant. The food quality was excellent, with a good variety of options available. Housekeeping and overall service were well managed and professional. The hotel ambiance was calm and welcoming, making it suitable for both business and leisure stays. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Foxoso Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Recently stayed at Hotel Foxoso, and honestly, the only good thing about this property is its location. It is right on the beach and the beachside location is truly excellent. The property itself is quite big as well.Unfortunately, everything else was extremely disappointing.The rooms are very poorly maintained. Toilets were broken, the washrooms were smelly, and absolutely not worth the high prices they charge. Outside our room, very dirty and stinky mattresses were kept, which was unhygienic and unpleasant.The swimming pool staircase was broken and unsafe. My husband almost slipped and fell multiple times. This is a serious safety issue that the management seems to ignore.Another shocking experience was with the airport taxi arrangement. The hotel quoted ’2100 + ’400 night charges for a taxi at 7 a.m., which makes no sense. When I directly called the same taxi driver, he immediately offered ’1500 without any negotiation. This felt like a complete scam.It was also my anniversary on the 27th and my child’s birthday on the 28th. I had informed the hotel in advance, but there was zero effort from their side ’ no room decoration, no small gesture, nothing. In my experience of traveling over the last 10 years, hotels usually do something small and thoughtful. Here, they didn’t even try.I had also requested room cleaning while we stepped out, especially so my child could rest properly later. Even after returning two hours later, the room was still dirty, and the request was completely ignored.To add to the disappointment, the food quality and taste were also below average.Final verdict:This property is NOT worth the money. If you choose to stay here, do it only for the location, and lower your expectations for everything else ’ rooms, service, cleanliness, safety, food, and honesty.Very disappointing experience overall.
