Hotel Alka Inn

Had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff was courteous and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. After checking out, I realized that I had accidentally left my charger in the room. What truly impressed me was the honesty and professionalism of the hotel staff ’ they personally called me to inform me about it and helped me get it back.In today’s time, such genuine customer care and integrity are rare to find. The staff was polite, responsible, and very supportive throughout my stay. Their attention to guests and excellent service made my experience even more memorable.I highly appreciate the management and team for their professionalism and kindness. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and trustworthy place to stay.

They provide hot water only between 5AM to 8AM. Geyser was not there in bathroom.

This is easily one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, and I would strongly advise everyone to avoid it at all costs. The staff is shockingly rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic courtesy.We stayed for 1 night at Alka Inn, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. We checked in at 7 PM, yet the checkout time the very next day was 11 AM’giving us barely any value for the money we paid. We had booked 2 rooms and informed the staff that we would vacate one room early at 8 AM and only needed the second room for an extra hour (to checkout at 12PM) due to our shopping plans. Despite this being a very reasonable request, the staff bluntly refused and demanded a full day’s charge for just one extra hour. What made it worse was the extremely rude and dismissive way they communicated this’completely unacceptable behavior for anyone in the hospitality industry.The so-called ’complimentary breakfast’ was equally disappointing. Basic items like bread and butter were finished, and when my father politely asked for them, the staff member rudely responded, ’Sir, khatam ho gaya hai, aur mat khayiye,’ and walked away. This level of disrespect towards guests is simply outrageous.To add to the misery, the rooms themselves were poorly maintained. The doors do not close properly, and the key cards make constant noise. In one instance, when we were not even in the room, we received a call threatening that if the key card malfunctioned due to the faulty door, we would be charged for it. Being threatened like this right after checking in is completely unacceptable and reflects how poorly the hotel treats its guests.Overall, this hotel fails on every basic standard’service, maintenance, and guest respect. I regret staying here and would never recommend this place to anyone.
