I am quite let down by my experience at The Fern Residency Ahmedabad, Ellisbridge, Series by Marriott. Having stayed at other Marriott hotels, I expect a certain level of upkeep and service, which was lacking here. The bathroom door in my room wouldn't close properly, and when I mentioned it, the staff just said I needed to force it shut. Shouldn't the hotel fix such issues instead of expecting guests to manage? Additionally, the food quality was below what I anticipated. I really wonder how this hotel is managed under the Marriott brand, as being part of Marriott should guarantee standards in maintenance, service, staff conduct, and food. I feel ashamed and disappointed by this stay, and Marriott needs to review the standards at this location.
