Had a wonderful experience at Hotel Ashish! The rooms were tidy and cozy, the staff were welcoming and supportive, check-in was hassle-free, and the service was excellent. The hotel is well-located and provides excellent value. Definitely a top choice for visitors to Ahmedabad! 😊

Why a 1-star rating? Please read my full review. Honestly, this hotel is very nice. My stay was wonderful. The room was clean, the service was good, and everything was perfect. So why did I rate it 1 star? One day, I requested an iron to press my clothes. Then I went out for some work. While I was away, the hotel staff entered my room and took the iron back without asking or informing me. Later, they said they needed the iron. For me, this was unacceptable. Everything else about this hotel was really good. But entering my room without permission was wrong. That is the only reason I gave 1 star. Despite this, I will still visit this hotel again because, apart from this incident, my experience was very good. I stayed here for 10 days. Honestly, I never thought I would give this hotel 1 star. But I had no choice because a basic principle of guest privacy and respect was violated. Now it's your choice. I just shared my experience honestly. You can decide if you want to stay here or not.

This hotel stay was among the worst I've experienced. We were a group of 5 adults and had been assured before booking that we'd get one large room with 3 beds and another with 2 beds. But when we arrived late at night, they exploited the situation and gave us two rooms with double beds plus a mattress on the floor, which was not what was promised and made things very uncomfortable. We checked in around 2:00 AM, yet breakfast was set for 8:00 AM. If someone checks in that late, when are they supposed to sleep? Also, no food was offered after check-in, and every request seemed to be met with a bad attitude. Breakfast was very disappointing — the parathas were raw, there was no pickle, no tea, no juice, and the food seemed served reluctantly. The rooms were tiny and cramped, adding to the discomfort. What worsened the experience was the staff constantly arguing and complaining about breakfast until checkout. There was no real hospitality, no support, and no effort to make guests feel welcome. Overall, the service, facilities, room setup, and food quality were all well below what was expected. I would not suggest this place to anyone.
