The location of the hotel is good just walking distance from assi ghaat and ravi das ghat. But the room service is pathetic .. inspite of paying 4000 per room per night AC was not working no mineral water was served, no towels were given, flush broken, no soaps and shampoo given. Basic emenities were missing. Plz dont stay here .. and dont pay any advance. Only the Ganga view rooms are good rest are all bad.

Don't ever come to this Hotel Ganga Monastery for stay, this is a waste of money and a worst experience one can ever have. Before checking out, I thought of writing a review of this Hotel Ganga Monastery. The day I checked in for the first time, one Hotel guy named Pappu Yadav showed us the rooms, and after we chose a room, he told us that we have to pay for our whole stay, even before entering the room. As we were tired after long journey and hungry, we chose not to argue, and we paid for the whole stay. Thereafter when we asked for lunch, he said that the kitchen is closed but they can provide food packets from outside, to which we agreed. The room was dirty, dusty and even the toilet was as dirty as a public toilet. Pappu Yadav himself cleaned those after we complained. Later, we found those food packets were available at just half the price just outside the hotel. No proper room service was ever provided. This Hotel charges ’4500/- per day, but don't provide toiletries or packaged water. We were told that we need to order for the food we want to have, but they even failed to provide a standard breakfast of bread toast, butter and omelet, that we ordered the earlier night. There is no functional kitchen in the hotel by which they can provide us with a square meal or a standard breakfast. This Pappu Yadav's behavior is unexpectedly bad and rude, he behaves as if he has let us stay in the hotel for free. There is no room service of cleaning the room. The bed sheets, pillow covers and the blanket are stained, I complained but they didn't bother to change those. At the night we stayed last, that guy Pappu Yadav knocked the room, smiling and asked for tips, for doing no hospitality. Even at the day when we were supposed to check out, he came and shouted as we were late for checking out as the Hotel checking out time is 11 am, and we asked him that we will leave by 1 pm as we have a late evening flight. Even the rooms have lizard's waste through out the room. Overall, it's a bad hospitality experience except the view of the river Ganga.

A horrific experience with no kitchen, no proper food. A guy named Pappu Yadav manages everything. Sometimes he is the cook and sometimes the sweeper and the manager. Nothing is ok with this hotel. This in fact is not a hotel at all. No room cleaning in time. Shabby beds. No water kettle, no mineral water, everything is so much below the mark that you can't stay here. The Yadav guy will resemble all to be fine and then take away the entire 4 days or tenure of stay money. The rate is basically just for show on the website and the staff will manipulate the rate. So over all this is a ghost house and a complete failure as a hotel. Google should delist this property and take adequate measures so that they don't include them further to cheat people.

Such a bad experience at this hotel. Please do not ruin your experience by staying at this hotel. The service is so poor and slow. We stayed there over 4days, and over this duration, no bedsheets were changed, no rooms were cleaned, no bathrooms were washed. The bedsheets are stained and the food is prepared in extremely unhygenic conditions. Cockroaches are found all over the room, the washroom drains are clogged and overall its just a dirty mess. The management just makes false promises and will ask you to "adjust" if any services are requested. Pathetic experience. So not recommend at all.
