I travelled alone after 15 years and thought of choosing a brand which has some commitment to hospitality but this was my worst stay in terms of accommodation.Day1 - the room had no cooling and the technician came in to do some adjustments and said it will cool now. I went for darshan and came back around 8, there was not much change in room cooling. I had opted for premium room paying almost 6 k extra for the bath tub. Now when I went for a shower, it was either cold or hot water from the taps, the mixer was ineffective. Worst was as Varanasi experience power fluctuation, their hot water goes off with power going off.It took me an hour to bath and get out.Then I requested a room change or refund as I had 1 more day to stay. The front desk guy said I will get the room changed and will get everything checked before you move. This took more than 45 min and then the new room had similar problems in water supply Infact it was worst, their hot water pressure was very low, no mixed water.Overall, the experience you expect from a 5 star property was as good as staying in some 2 star property, I wish I had booked a hotel near to the temple and in half the cost, I would have saved time and money I spend going to places.Please avoid this hotel when in Varanasi

A place of peace of tranquility in the crazy, super busy and chaotic city of Varanasi. The location is not particularly central but easy enough to get to the ghats by Auto rickshaw and then cycle rickshaw for the last part.Hotel is lovely, you get a traditional Indian welcome on arrival and of course a delicious warm cookie.Room is great, a good size, very clean, has everything you need. Good breakfast.

My stay was generally good until I encountered problems with the Housekeeping and Food & Beverage departments. Although I clearly indicated on the laundry slip that I wanted my clothes folded, they were always returned on hangers. It seemed like my instructions were either ignored or not read, which was quite frustrating since the same request was overlooked multiple times. The Food & Beverage experience was even more disappointing. I ordered tea with cookies but was served tea with a croissant instead. When I told the staff about the mistake, they asked me five times, "Ma’am, you want cookies?" which felt unprofessional and annoying since I had clearly ordered cookies. Later that night, I called In-Room Dining to request a packed breakfast with tea delivered at 5:30 AM. The staff member, Rajkumar, sounded groggy and inattentive during the call. He told me tea was not part of the breakfast and said he could only provide beverages. It was surprising and confusing to hear that tea wasn’t included with breakfast, as who drinks soda first thing in the morning? This was the first time a hotel refused to include tea with breakfast, which was disappointing. These ongoing issues with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage really impacted what could have been a pleasant stay.

The team was very friendly and the service was excellent.
