We had reserved a two-night stay that included breakfast, but on the second day, we were refused breakfast without explanation. No alternative like a packed meal was offered, nor was there any compensation for the missed breakfast. Instead, we were told the breakfast was provided "for free," which was surprising since it was part of our package. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the female owner, who spoke to us rudely and unprofessionally, using a harsh tone and inappropriate language. She dismissed our concerns rather than addressing them, making us feel disrespected as guests. Hospitality involves not just amenities but also basic respect and courtesy, which were seriously missing here. It wasn't about the cost but how we were treated, making the experience very disappointing and unpleasant.

At the end of February 2026, we reserved 2 Deluxe rooms for 2 families for 3 days at a high price, assured of a clear river view from the rooms, which turned out to be untrue. The hotel denied this claim. Due to urgency, we had to shorten our stay by one day with prior notice. Upon leaving, the hotel owner aggressively demanded payment for the cancelled day and threatened to prevent us and our luggage from leaving, even warning about calling the police. Instead, we contacted the police, who intervened and warned the hotel staff. There was no receptionist or appropriate staff available, and we had to ask a hotel boy for minor services. The hotel did not have an authorized parking area as promised. When going out, the hotel boy was sleeping in the reception lobby, so we had to unlock the door bolt and gate ourselves; the same happened when returning. Therefore, I do not recommend staying at Hotel Ganga Garden.

2泊お世話になりました。アッシーガートに近く、エントランスや屋上テラスからガンガがよく見えます。ホテル内は静かで、体調が悪かったので部屋でゆっくり休めました🙏 スタッフはフレンドリーで、オーナーさんも両替をしてくれるなど親切でした。家族経営で、オーナーご夫婦のお子さんたちも皆親切です。時々「パスポートは後で部屋に届ける」や「日本円を預けたら両替してくる」といった、日本人には少し不安に感じる発言がありましたが、全体的には快適に過ごせました。ありがとうございました🙏

The hotel is beautifully located with views of the Ganga from the first-floor rooms. The ground floor rooms are also nice and comfortable. The hotel's atmosphere and decor are outstanding. However, the food quality does not match the price, especially since it is a vegetarian hotel and needs to improve its food standards quickly. The staff are wonderful, with special thanks to Sahil, Sohel, and Rohit, who are very dedicated throughout the day. We stayed for four days from February 18 to February 22, 2026, and overall, our experience was good.
