Glenville forest resort & spa

Went on a family trip to Glenville Forest Resort & Spa and it was a pathetic experience. Definitely not value for money. The staff was rude and uncooperative. Bathrooms were unclean, the swimming pool was dirty, and the resort hardly had any proper facilities. We even asked for additional towels, but the staff refused to provide them. There were no wardrobes in the rooms either. For the amount charged, the overall experience was completely disappointing and not worth the money.

I rate this Resort 4.5. Reason for .5 reductions are in CONS belowI was skeptical due to reviews in Trip Advisor and other platforms but still decided to go forward with booking looking at Property picture and giving me confidence that its best to stay with kids. Key issues recorded against this property in most platform was delayed food, staff issue, lack of TVFor all those who decide to book this property, I Stayed between May 1, 2026 to May 4, 2026 and Iam sharing my personal feedbackPros1. Property looks exactly what is shown in pictures. The management maintains it the lawn and garden really well.2. Every cottage are extremely spacious, clean, HAS TV which are android TV and hence one can use their own personal connection to watch what they want. Internet at times are sometime low and I recommend to carry dongle if possible. However it doesn’t mean that it is terribly low or doesn’t work. It loses connection at times making continued Android TV watch challenging which when informed to staff they try to fix it as well.3. We were family of 3 (2 adults and a kid) and they gave 2 extra mattress on floor making it queen size to have comfortable sleep while the queen size Bed can accommodate 2 adults and less than 10 year old easily. Extra mattress was not asked but they made the arrangement to ensure we have comfortable stay which goes to show that the staff thinks proactively. The mattress provided are of same size as in Queen size bed (similar to what we get in 5star hotels) and make sleep very comfortable. The arrangement is far better comfortable than extra bed that regular hotel arrange. If anyone feels getting up or going to bed on floor is difficult then except for those who are severely ill and cant lean at all, it is comfortable. Even healthy elders above 70’s will have comfortable sleep in that extra bed allocated4. With extra mattress, the space within the room is not compromised at all.5. Basic amenities like shower gel, shampoo, bath towel, soap given by all hotels are there and are replenished every day. They don’t give dental/shaving kit.6. Every cottage has a lawn, table and 4 comfortable chair in lawn to enjoy morning breeze or late evening time out. Iam sure in winters this space will be super helpful to have bonfire and tandoor food7. Absolutely kids friendly property. Within cottage small kids will be comfortable, and the lawn are such that family can run and play with kids and kids wont complaint being shut within 4 walls of a room8. For elders they have snooker, TT. Didn’t explore anything else and I believe they will have carroms, chess etc.9. Property has decent size swimming pool for those who want to spend time in pool.10. Food –a. Breakfast – very minimal spread and I believe serves well rather than having way too many buffet spread which hardly gets opted and avoid wasting food. Always Served hot. They serve cut fruits along with 2 Indian food options like parantha, poori, and then toasted bread, butter, omlete of our choice etc. No cornflakes kind was seenb. Lunch/Dinner - They prepare fresh and thus takes 15-20 minutes unlike what many other commented that it takes hours. One should just order, relax at room or lawn with good family/friends time by the time the food is prepared. For urgent kids food requirement - saw staff going extra mile to accommodate and prepare faster, obviously that compromises other booking by few minutes which is absolutely acceptable. The food is absolutely Yummy and no complaints at all. We used to call KRISHNA Ji while we are on our way back to hotel from our day trip and order food and inform time by when we will need. Rest assured we will be served food in timely manner, hot and Yummmmmmmmm. Plan in advance and inform and no one will have complaints.11. Staff – This property is blessed with best of Ground staff who will go every mile possible to make guest stay comfortable.

The resort have clean pool .Clean rooms and food is very delicious. I recommend this resort to Chill and fun with family and friends.

This resort is really good In terms of calmness, cleaness and peaceful environment. We stayed for a day find it comfortable. Location is little bit outside city but good for short stays.

I stayed at this property for two days. I stayed in cottage and suite both, and both were amazing. The suite was very big. They have sofa cum bed in both type of rooms. I also explored their executive rooms which were equally awesome. The staff is really friendly and genuinely helpful. The only thing they need to focus on is the maintenance of this wonderful property. The swimming pool and fountain were dirty and lots of mosquitos in the open area.
