Very Disappointing ExperienceI had a very disappointing experience during my stay at Effotel. The property was old and in under mantainence.The room was in poor condition and definitely not a 4-star property. The washroom was very dirty and unhygienic.At the time of check-in, there was also no staff available to assist with the luggage, which was inconvenient after travelling.Only breakfast was good.Overall, I was not satisfied with the hotel and feel that significant improvements are needed in terms of maintenance, cleanliness, hygiene, and service. I would not recommend Effotel if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free stay.
Everything about this hotel is good. staying for the second time. Has good food, excellent rooms and great service . highly recommend.
1-Star – Absolutely Pathetic ExperienceOne of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the property had an unpleasant smell and a serious lack of basic hygiene. The overall condition was shockingly poor and certainly not what one expects from a professional hotel.The staff management was pathetic—poorly coordinated, unresponsive and completely lacking in professionalism. Guest concerns seemed to be the last priority.The condition of the towels and linen was unacceptable, with torn and poorly maintained items, and even the curtains looked dirty and neglected. The entire property gave the impression that basic maintenance and cleanliness had simply been ignored.And the food was absolutely pathetic. The quality and hygiene were so disappointing that we were genuinely uncomfortable eating it.This is not about expecting luxury—it is about expecting basic cleanliness, hygiene, decent food and professional service, which should be the bare minimum for any hotel.Extremely disappointing. Poor hygiene, terrible maintenance, pathetic food and dreadful management. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice before booking. Definitely not coming back.
