Golden Pearl Resort By Gemstone Hospitality

I stayed at this resort with my family and pet last weekend, but the experience did not match the high price we paid. From the start, the booking process was unpleasant. The owner demanded we save his number before any further communication and insisted on a 50% advance payment. We asked to pay 30% upfront and the rest at check-in later that day, but there was no flexibility. Even though we checked in at 6 PM, there was no offer for late check-out or any discount. Worse, we got a call before 11 AM reminding us to leave the room. Though the resort claims to be pet-friendly, pets aren't allowed in the restaurant or common areas, making the stay inconvenient. We had to take turns eating breakfast because one of us had to stay with our pet. The food quality was poor considering the room price. Breakfast options were limited and served only until 10 AM, which is not good for guests who want to relax. Overall, the owners seem more focused on enforcing rules and collecting high fees than on hospitality or making guests and their pets feel welcome. I would not recommend this resort. To clarify for future guests and save them from dealing with unprofessionalism: Thank you for your reply, but it contains untrue statements. I never asked for a late checkout; I only said that since I checked in around 6 PM instead of the usual time, some flexibility would have been appreciated. These are different things. Saying I "specifically requested a late checkout" is incorrect. I checked out before 11 AM, please verify. Also, the insistence on saving your number before any meaningful interaction was exactly how it felt to me. Calling it a technical requirement now doesn't change how it was communicated. Asking a woman to save a number without reason shows bad intent by the owner. My review was about the lack of flexibility, hospitality, and value for money, not about your policies. What disappoints me most is that instead of respectfully acknowledging feedback, your response tries to discredit it with false facts. I stand by my review and hope future travelers read both sides and decide for themselves.

A wonderful and lovely spot to visit. It’s easy to leave behind the weekday hustle and relax here... the atmosphere is very peaceful and the place is kept in excellent condition... had an amazing time...
