Golkonda Resort & Spa

Entering the property gives a feeling of a luxurious setting, wide, open and green. We were welcome promptly. Rooms are in an isolated building with no manned staff and some what lack luster setting. We lost power 5 times in one hour and our online meetings were disrupted and then again in the morning. Room was missing an iron, and they throttle down internet disabling any chance of a good connection. But it staff does help to bump it to 10 mbps. Staff is very junior and not trained well, almost flipped my dad’s wheel chair taking it over semi paved path. Beds were good, Showers too, but very poorly lit. Such a mix bag. Probably my maiden and last visit. Surely not worth the premium.

I stayed here recently. The absolute standout was the live flute music performed by Rohit. His playing added so much soul and serenity to the place that it transformed an ordinary morning into something truly memorable. Honestly, the five stars are for him!

Being told a 5 star property, this place does not offer anything in 5 star category. For the price of 21K, we paid this property is not worth of it. Rooms are below average. Food are priced exorbitantly. Service was moderate. I would definitely not recommend this property for a price that they are charging for. For the same amount we paid, we have said in seven star properties like Sheraton and IHG which provided a great hospitality and experience. Definitely not worth it’

We were here for the food and the service was lower than awful. When you cant manage service you should not have to sell. It took exactly 75mins for the first order to come in, not a single person is responsible, I believe the staff needs a upgrade if this property has to be valued and reconsidered. Horrendous and worthless. No etiquette, no responsibility and over all this food was below mark. Not recommended at all.This is for Mist restaurant and not for the resort.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was the worst management experience we’ve ever had. NOT WORTH MONEY!My husband and I stayed at this resort from Dec 1’4, 2025, expecting quality service given its reputation, but the experience was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING! There was no coordination among staff, and services they advertise’such as airport transfers (listed on websites and even in the room directory)’were not available, and the staff themselves were unaware of them.Any request we made was ignored, with nothing more than repeated apologies and no action. On our last day, hot water stopped working, and we were told we were ’upgraded’ to a Palm Villa, which turned out to be an old and poorly maintained cottage’not an upgrade at all.The most disturbing incident happened around MiDNIGHT, when a staff member accompanied by a manager knocked on our door to check if the room was vacant. Even after explaining that we were moved here, the reception called again to confirm this, disturbing us late at night despite knowing we had an early morning flight.This stay was not worth the money at all’especially given how expensive the resort is. If you value peace of mind, professionalism and good service- AVOID THIS RESORT!
