Great Trails Yercaud By GRT Hotels

We had a truly pleasant and memorable experience at GRT Hotels, Yercaud. The personalised service, warm smiles, and exceptional customer orientation displayed by Mr. Ramesh, Mr. Thiaghu, Mr. Srinivasan, Mr. Sakthivel, Mr. Kumaran, and Ms. Shahina were highly impressive and made our stay particularly comfortable.At the restaurant, the attentive and gracious service extended by Ms. Vijaya Kumari, Mr. Ramu, Mr. Sarath, Mr. Santosh, and Ms. Sumalata (Trainee) deserves special appreciation.The wide variety of food prepared under the able supervision of Executive Chef Mr. Bharathi was excellent. The dishes were consistently delicious and thoughtfully suited to the tastes of both younger and older guests.The entertainment programme, combined with the rooftop bonfire, was another delightful feature. It successfully brought together children, senior citizens, and other guests, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.The hotel's beautiful valley-view location is undoubtedly one of its greatest and most unique advantages. The high standards of neatness and cleanliness maintained throughout the property were also greatly appreciated.A few constructive suggestions:Placing dustbins near the lifts on all floors could help prevent littering and further enhance the cleanliness of the premises.A specially designed, reasonably priced package for senior citizens could be considered. Such an initiative may attract a significant number of guests from this important and growing segment of society.Overall, our experience at GRT Hotels, Yercaud, was truly enjoyable. We sincerely appreciate the warmth, hospitality, excellent service, delicious food, cleanliness, and beautiful surroundings. We stayed at GRT Great Trails, Yercaud for two days and chose the Valley View Room, which was absolutely fantastic. The room offered a stunning, picturesque view of Salem town, especially during dawn and dusk ’ truly a memorable sight.This trip was special for us, and our daughter enjoyed every moment. We’re glad we could create such a wonderful experience for her, one she’ll cherish for years to come.A special mention to Mr. Sanjay and Ms. Raji, whose warm hospitality and care for our daughter made our stay even better. Their attention and kindness meant a lot to us.I highly recommend this place, especially for families with toddlers looking for a peaceful and comfortable vacation.

Only if I could give 1 more star... It was that amazing of a stay.Amazing rooms, great views, and even better hospitality.We went for a weekend stay, and we didn't want to step out for anything as any views were amazing right from our breakfast table.Although, one small setback can be the monkeys visiting the room balconies. The hotel staff already instructs and there are multiple instructions in the room too to keep the balcony closed. Although for us it was a benefit as our kid could see monkey up close from the other side of the door.They have family games, bonfire (small one) and also free balloon animals everyday for kids. The kids can also enjoy in an extensive play area, suitable for toddlers as well as adults (with chess, carrom and other games). Infinity pool is there with views of mountains, although water can get really chilly.It gets really windy (due to the height which also gives great views), so do pack a proper jacket and if taking kids, also get a monkey cap for them as the wind might bother them more.The eucalyptus essence oil's fragrance was mesmerizing at the reception, to the extent that we purchased it from them.Would definitely go back.

Wonderful experience!We had a wonderful stay at GRT. From the warm and heartwarming welcome to the delicious food, everything was excellent. The ambience was beautiful, and the staff were humble, courteous, and always ready to help.A special mention to Mr. Mithun, who took care of the bonfire and games. Even though he's new, he conducted the activities with great enthusiasm and made them fun and engaging for everyone. We truly enjoyed every moment.Overall, it was a memorable experience and definitely worth staying there. Highly recommended!
