Good stay, but booking coordination and food need improvementOverall, the hotel was good, clean, and comfortable. We booked our stay through Agoda, but when we called the hotel in advance to inform them that we would be arriving early, they initially mentioned that they could not find our booking in their system. We had to share our booking ID, after which they were able to locate it.We understand that early check-in is subject to room availability, so we were okay with waiting. However, the hotel later informed us that because we had booked through Agoda, the reservation was not showing properly in their system. They offered us an upgrade to a villa as the normal rooms were unavailable, which was a nice gesture.When we arrived, we were told that the room would be ready by 1 PM, but we had to wait until around 1:50 PM to get our room. The delay was a little inconvenient, especially after travelling.The hotel itself was good, clean, and well-maintained. The villa upgrade was a positive experience.Food was a major disappointment. The food at the hotel was not good, especially the vegetarian options. I would recommend trying the restaurants outside the hotel instead. There is a veg restaurant called Malar just outside, which is a better option for food.Overall, we had a decent stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but the booking coordination, room readiness, and food quality could be improved. Better communication between Agoda and the hotel would also help make the check-in experience smoother.Pros: Clean hotel, comfortable stay, villa upgrade.Cons: Booking not initially visible in the hotel system, delayed room readiness, and disappointing food quality.
Very good location of Yercaud and very tasty food in the restaurant. Clean Pool and Staff was very good and helpful. A few things of general maintenance can improve in base category room and there is some humid and smell in some rooms
This is a fantastic property for families and also for couples. A no nonsense stay. Super clean rooms and pool. The restaurant offers promising foods. Also there’s so many complementary activities to choose from. Highly recommended for families.
