I don’t even know where to begin. Our stay at Hotel Haywizz, Port Blair was an absolute nightmare from start to finish, and I deeply regret choosing this place.The Smell 🤢The moment we entered the room, we were hit with an unbearable, suffocating stench. It was so foul that we could barely breathe. The room clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned or ventilated. The smell lingered throughout our entire stay and made it impossible to relax. This alone is reason enough to never return.Tiny, Cramped RoomFor the price we paid, the room was shockingly small — felt more like a storage closet than a hotel room. No space to move around, no comfort whatsoever.Hidden Charges for Kids — Absolute Daylight RobberyThey had the audacity to demand extra money for children without any prior disclosure. This was never mentioned at the time of booking. Springing hidden charges on a family is completely unacceptable and dishonest.Terrible FoodThe food served was unappetizing and of very poor quality. It tasted stale and was presented carelessly. Totally inedible.Rude & Unhelpful StaffThe staff showed zero hospitality. No courtesy, no warmth, no willingness to help when we raised concerns. They behaved as if guests were a burden to them.Agoda Was No Help EitherTo make matters worse, when we reached out to Agoda for support regarding the hidden charges and the appalling conditions, they were completely useless. No proper resolution, no accountability. Agoda needs to do better due diligence before listing properties like this on their platform. Booking through Agoda gave us zero protection as a customer.Bottom Line:Hotel Haywizz Port Blair is NOT recommended — especially for Indian families who value basic cleanliness, honest pricing, and respectful service. Save your money and your sanity. There are far better options in Port Blair. This place should not be operating as a hotel.Confirm all kid charges before check-in. Carry air freshener. Avoid this place — better hotels available near Aberdeen Bazaar at same price!”Would I return? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it? Never.Not recommended at all, especially for Indian families expecting basic hygiene and honest service. There are much better options in Port Blair. Stay away!
Location was great. Reception staff Miss Jyotika was good and helpful. Food was also great. The bedside charging socket needs repairing and Wifi speed should be faster. Everything else was great..
It's an old place, extremely small rooms and bathrooms. All items are old and not in good condition, uncomfortable bed, noisy fans, very sad bathrooms, Nothing recommend
