Hilux Courtyard

I would first of all would like to say the receptionist is really a lazy guy.. he doesnt check the rooms before giving to the customers...like no kinda responsibility to attend the customer kinda thing..coz of all that we had to change the rooms 3 times.. and the final one we got, smelt of cigarettes and not clean..to b frank its not worth the price. Its just okayish room.. could get better rooms for the price, we paid 2500 per room with no breakfast.. so please dont take it for this rate.. rely small room and some ac dont work.. i wud say 1500 rs maximum per night value only there.. the service is horrible.. please dont fall for the pics.. ita not what u see in reality.. and the high ratings doesnt look genuine..

On the positive side, the hotel offers basic amenities, guest parking, and a calm, quiet atmosphere that is conveniently close to town. Given the price, it offers decent value for money, and overall the stay was just okay.However, this property is definitely not of a 4-star category. It completely lacks basic hospitality and flexibility. The front desk staff offered no luggage assistance upon arrival and were entirely unaccommodating, flatly refusing a simple 30-minute checkout extension even with an empty schedule. The focus feels strictly transactional’rigid rules and collecting money rather than guest comfort, which is very unprofessional. Inside the room, while the basics were there, some amenities weren't up to the mark and we unfortunately encountered cockroaches. I might have easily overlooked those room issues if the staff had been welcoming, but the poor service made the shortcomings hard to excuse."

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hilux Courtyard, Palakkad. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The hotel’s location is also ideal, making it convenient to access the city and nearby places.Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable experience. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Palakkad!

Very disappointing stay at Hilux Courtyard. We stayed in Room No. 210, and the overall experience was far below expectations.The housekeeping was pathetic and the cleanliness standards were nowhere near what is expected from a hotel claiming to be 4-star. The reception team failed to provide proper briefing during check-in, which created unnecessary confusion regarding the facilities and services. There was also no bell boy available to assist us or show us the room, which was very unprofessional for a hotel claiming to be a 4-star property.Coming to the extra bed, they did not even provide a proper cot. Instead, they simply placed a mattress on the floor, which was highly disappointing and uncomfortable.The restaurant experience was equally poor. Dinner options were extremely limited, with only fried rice, chapathi, and chicken curry available. The breakfast was also not up to the mark in terms of quality and variety.Overall, the hotel does not justify its 4-star claim. Service, hospitality, food quality, and guest handling need major improvement.
