Hotel Darbar International

The stay was quite ordinary; the only positive was its location, just a 5-minute walk from the station. Rooms up to the 2nd floor felt outdated, while those from the 3rd floor appeared renovated. We booked two deluxe rooms but were given rooms on different floors. The AC, even at setting 16, didn't cool the rooms well. One room had a small TV and a window AC right above the bed. Toiletries were minimal, only small soaps, and the bedsheets were unclean. I probably won't choose this place again as it doesn't justify the price.

Hotel Darbar is situated very near Gaya Junction, making it very convenient for those arriving by train or with early morning plans. It’s a modest, budget hotel. Given the low prices, it feels affordable for a brief stay. The staff is average—they handle the basic tasks. Cleanliness is acceptable, nothing special but adequate for the cost. Don’t expect any luxury here, but it serves well for a quick overnight stop or transit. Overall, if you want a simple, economical option close to the station, Hotel Darbar is a suitable choice.

আমি কিছুদিন আগে বাবা-মায়ের পিন্ডো দান করতে গিয়েছিলাম। জওয়ার আগে আমার সঙ্গে এই হোটেলের ওনার অমিতজি ফোনে কথা বলেছেন। তিনি আমাদের পূরহিত রবি ঠাকুরের ফোন নম্বর দিয়েছিলেন। অমিতজির কথায় হোটেল ও রবি ঠাকুর সম্পর্কে অনেক বিশ্বাস ছিল। বাস্তবে সত্যিই তাই হলো। আমরা রাত এগারোটা নাগাদ পৌঁছলাম। স্টেশনের ঠিক পাশেই হোটেল, সিন্টু নামে আরেকজন ভালো মানুষ আমাদের রিসিভ করল এবং সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ঠান্ডা জলের বোতল দিয়ে রুমে নিয়ে গেল। হোটেলে লিফ্ট আছে, রুমটি বেশ ভালো, বড়, এসি, পরিষ্কার এবং বাথরুমও যথেষ্ট পরিষ্কার ও বড়। পরের দিন ভোরবেলা রবি ঠাকুর আমাদের ফল্গু নদীর পাশে ভগবান বিষ্ণুর মন্দিরে যাওয়ার জন্য টোটো পাঠিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন। সেখানে আগে থেকেই সুন্দর আয়োজন ছিল। সুন্দর পরিবেশে আমরা আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষের পিন্ডো দান সম্পন্ন করলাম। পরিষ্কার স্পষ্ট মন্ত্র উচ্চারণ এবং অতিরিক্ত খরচ ছাড়া আমাদের কাজ সুষ্ঠুভাবে সম্পন্ন হলো। সত্যিই রবি জির তুলনা হয় না। এরপর আবার ঐ রবি জির বুক করা টোটো করে হোটেলে ফিরে গিয়ে গরম গরম আলুর পরোটা ও আচার খেয়ে ডাইনিং টেবিলে বসেই জমাটিয়াল আড্ডা শুরু হলো। আমরা সঙ্গে অমিতজি ও সিন্টু ছিলেন। এক ঘণ্টার আড্ডায় মন ভোরে গেল, মনে হলো না আমরা কোনো অচেনা জায়গায় এসেছি। যাই হোক, খুব সুন্দর একটি দিনের অভিজ্ঞতা শেয়ার করলাম। মনে পড়ল মানুষের জন্য ভূপেন হাজারিকার গানটি একদম উপযুক্ত। সবশেষে আবার ধন্যবাদ অমিতজি, রবি ঠাকুরজি ও সিন্টুজিকে।

In hotel one staff is there, that name is Rahul. He is too good and last I am going to talk about hotel restaurant, there food was Osam. Thanks will visit again.

Thankyou Amit ji and staff for taking a personal interest and made sure my parents were taken care of until they got into train to their next journey. All the local site seeings, transportation and pooja related info all were given correctly and good recommendations.Parents made their solo trip all the way from Kurnool, Andhrapradesh to Gaya.Hotel was in good location and staff were friendly.Everything was very reasonable and parents were satisfied.
