Specifically, I had requested a non-smoking room at the time of booking. To my surprise, the moment we entered the hotel room, there was a strong unpleasant smell of cigarettes and beverages. Additionally, there were numerous cigarette butts in the balcony, and the toilets were untidy.As a matter of fact, we are residents of Mumbai, but the reason for our stay was that my daughter was appearing for the AIIMS PG Entrance Examination (Medical PG Exam) on the morning of 16th, and the candidate was required to report to the examination center at 6:30 AM. To avoid a long early-morning travel, we booked the hotel so that she could relax and concentrate on her studies. Unfortunately, due to the unhygienic and uncomfortable room conditions, she could not focus properly.Another very disappointing issue was the presence of several cockroaches moving around in different areas of the room. I immediately brought these concerns to the notice of the hotel staff, following which they provided another room. Although the replacement room was slightly better, issues related to towels, toilet cleanliness, and cockroaches still remained.This will be my last booking through Agoda, as there has been no response to my email and no proper customer support. Whenever I contact Agoda Mumbai, India, the call gets connected to Malaysia, making the support process even more frustrating.I am truly upset with this poor service experience and would strongly hesitate to recommend Agoda to my friends, relatives, and colleagues.
The hotel is excellent and the staff are very helpful. We stayed for 12 days. During office hours, my 8-year-old son stayed alone in the room, and they looked after him well. Breakfast in the morning is free, with the menu being nearly the same every day.
