Effotel by Sayaji Navi Mumbai

We checked in at 10pm to stay over night as a stop in our journey to Pune as it was late to continue the drive. The air conditioned room allotted (#202) had a broken window which couldn’t be closed due to which mosquitoes were entering the room. The room had visible dust on the floor which may be due to the window being open the whole time. At first the staff (Mr. Gaurav) said that they were fully booked. But once they realised that we were not ready to spend the entire night in that shabby room, suddenly an upgraded room was available and the manager (Mr. Usman) himself came & offered us the upgraded room. All this happened between 10pm-11pm. We finally slept at 12am, all this chaos because a room was allotted without any checks by the management/housekeeping. The breakfast is good but has very few options. Overall not a very pleasant stay for even an overnight halt.

The room was good overall, and the hotel offered good facilities, including laundry service, reliable Wi-Fi, room dining, and a breakfast buffet.However, I had two major issues during my stay:1. After the room was mopped, the floor felt sticky. I called reception and requested that it be cleaned again. They assured me that someone would be sent, but no one came.2. At night, the room started to smell strongly of urine. I contacted reception, and once again, they said someone would come and clean the room, but no one showed up. I suspect the smell might have been coming from the surrounding industrial area, possibly due to chemical emissions being drawn into the room through the air-conditioning system. However, I cannot confirm the exact source of the smell.

I had an amazing experience staying at Effotel by Sayaji in Navi Mumbai! The hotel boasts a stunning aesthetic with a classy and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully designed, cozy, and impeccably maintained. The bathroom stood out with its well-equipped and thoughtfully organized setup. The hotel's view was breathtaking, adding to the pleasure of the stay. The food was a standout feature as well—every dish we sampled was flavorful, delicious, and attractively served. The service was top-notch, with friendly and polite staff who made us feel truly welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, from the ambiance and rooms to the cuisine, views, and hospitality. I would definitely love to return!

Staying at Sayaji was pleasant. The hotel service and housekeeping were excellent. The food was tasty with a good variety of options. From a safety perspective, it was also satisfactory as we tested the safety measures by simulating smoke and the evacuation process worked well. However, the area around the hotel was polluted at night.

I really like the food and the staff are very nice. I love this place and we will come back soon.
