Hotel Kanchan Tilak

The location of the hotel is very convenient to the main market but the reception staff if pathetic. They have not even basic courtesy to welcome their guest. They have offered us the worst room they have only because we have book their hotel online and not from their own platform. The experience was even worst when we confront them, they even deny basic drinking water to us. I really want to let the higher management of the hotel to please review the behaviour of the receptionist someone Mr. Mahendra R.

Very good hotel and got a good deal.The staff was helpful and polite. They allowed us to use the room prior to check in .Breakfast is also good in taste.Location is next to Chhappan and Rickshaw easily available.Recommended to others.

Horrible experience at hotel Kanchan Tilak.. Both the reception staff in the morning and evening were super rude and angry people...how Management makes them.sit at reception to check in is shocking.The room was newly renovated ..no issue.But the 3rd floor of hotel is underconstruction and they were working from 10am to midnight. They were cutting marble tiles at 1am...Shocking and when reception was informed staff cut the phone...Housekeeping and room service was decent.Go and stay at your risk

I found this hotel on MakeMyTrip. At first, I was not sure how the hotel would be, but honestly, it turned out to be much better than I expected. The location is very good, and all the main places in Indore are nearby. The hotel staff were nice and their behaviour was also good. But even better than that was the restaurant staff. The food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing ’ veg and non-veg both were excellent. I was really impressed by the taste. The hotel room was also very good. Housekeeping staff regularly came to clean the room. Overall, I can say that all the staff here are truly excellent.Now let me talk about a few points that were not good. First, there was a kettle in the room, but there was nothing provided to make tea or coffee ’ no coffee powder, milk powder, or sugar. Only the kettle was there. Second, the TV in our room was not working properly. The screen kept going black again and again, and only the sound was coming. Third, there was a wardrobe, and when we opened the third section, we could see the hotel’s pipeline and wiring inside. They should put a lock on it so that only staff members can open it.

Room was clean but very old and bad state... bedsheets were to clean but torn... sofa all old and grumpy... The door had no locking system from inside just one desi latch on top.... one cabinet had geyser installed barded by a wooden plank... I missed on taking the video or else would have shared it... i hear renovation is going on... so hoping next time it will be better... as the location is superb...
