Hotel Purva M.G. Road

Very disappointing experience with Hotel Purva Indore. I called just to inquire about room prices politely and mentioned my budget of ’1500. Instead of responding professionally, the staff started insulting me, saying things like ’go stay in a dharamshala’ and ’you can’t afford this hotel.’ When I asked for the actual room price, they became abusive and used offensive language.No customer deserves to be treated with such disrespect just for asking about pricing. Professional behavior and basic manners are expected from any hotel staff. I would never recommend this place to anyone based on how rudely they talk to potential customers.

I had a very disappointing experience with Hotel Purva. When my mother called to inquire about room availability, the staff spoke to her in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. Later, when I called to address the issue, the situation became even worse’the person on the phone used abusive language and showed a complete lack of professionalism.Such behavior towards customers is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the management of this hotel. Basic courtesy and respect should be the minimum standard in the hospitality industry.I would strongly advise others to think twice before considering this place, as customer service here is seriously lacking.

Generally i have never posted anything negative about anyone.But today it is important for people to know.I reached indore today at 12 AM. Went to check for retiring room but was not available due to maintenance.Then i waited for my family member to join who was coming from a different city.By the time i googled all the nearby hotels and then started calling but most replied they were full.Then i checked the maps page for Hotel Purva, it had an online booking available (via MyTravaly) and pictures and price also looked quite good. I called the hotel to check if they will take my booking or not if i paid via Mytravaly. They said yes they will. I booked and then waited for family to join. Then i took an auto there. But after seeing my booking amount they rejected and said we will give room but not at this price. You can claim refund from MyTravaly.New city, midnight 1.30AM and we 2 family members alone in city where we knew nobody.We then had to leave the hotel forgetting our money (3000 lost) and go again to hotel hunt. Now we have found another one fortunately.I just want people to know that if you arriving with Family, not the hotel to choose.Indore...sorry not had a good experience.

We stayed at this hotel on **6’7 March** in **Room 206**, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing and unsafe experience.Although the room looked clean initially, during the night the flush and basin water stopped working completely. We informed reception and a caretaker came, but he gave random explanations and asked us to wait. The issue was never properly fixed. The manager offered another room, but since it was already very late and we were tired, we had no option but to adjust.The next morning, hot water was also not available. The caretaker asked us to use a different room’s washroom. While using that washroom, the **bathroom door suddenly got locked from inside even though I hadn’t locked it**. I started shouting for help and opened a small upper window to call out.I clearly saw a man downstairs, who I believe was the manager, and shouted ’help’ multiple times. Shockingly, he did nothing’he didn’t come, didn’t check, and didn’t even inform anyone.Eventually, my friends realized something was wrong and had to break the door to get me out. When they later confronted the manager, he casually said ’Yes, one girl was shouting.’The fact that he heard someone asking for help and still did absolutely nothing is extremely concerning.This experience showed a complete lack of responsibility, safety awareness, and basic customer care. Please think twice before staying here, because when you actually need help, the management may not respond at all.

The ambience and hygiene of the hotel were extremely disappointing. To begin with, the reception staff was not even aware of our booking. After some confusion, we were allotted rooms that were clearly not cleaned. The floors had visible dust, the furniture was dusty, and the rooms had not been properly swept. The toilets and bathrooms were also unhygienic. Although the rooms had AC units, none of them were functioning.When we requested the staff to clean the rooms, the work was done very superficially. I checked multiple rooms hoping to shift my senior citizen parents to a better one, but all the rooms were in a similar condition. I ended up wasting half a day trying to find a better room, but the staff remained uncooperative throughout.Overall, the hotel’s maintenance was extremely poor. Both the owners and the staff seemed unconcerned and displayed a very careless attitude. The stay was certainly not value for money, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.A small suggestion for people planning a stay in Indore: if you are paying for accommodation during your vacation, make sure it is worth it. After a long day of travel and sightseeing, everyone deserves to return to a comfortable and clean place. Do not compromise on your stay.
