Suitable for those who prefer minimal chaos. I stayed here with my family for just one day. While my family didn't really enjoy the place, likely due to the generation gap, as someone from the newer generation who dislikes chaos, I found it quite good.

At first, this place seemed like a great deal with rooms costing around ₹700 per night. However, the low price came with significant downsides. My room was right next to the kitchen, so it was constantly filled with strong cooking smells throughout the day. It also had almost no ventilation except the door, making it stuffy and uncomfortable. The TV, which was supposed to be a smart TV, didn’t work at all during my stay. The bathroom was worse, with insects coming out of the drain, which made me question the cleanliness and upkeep of the place. When I told the owner about these problems, he responded rudely and said no other rooms were available. Yet, I saw the property still taking bookings online for the same dates. When I asked about this, he said he would just refuse check-in to those guests if they showed up since he had no free rooms. The owner also said, "You should be happy to get a room for ₹700 per night. At that price, I can’t even cover laundry and electricity costs." Oddly, the price hasn’t changed even a month later. If the rate was really too low, you’d expect it to be raised instead of blaming guests. Many other travelers have also complained about the owner’s rude and disrespectful behavior. He really needs to improve how he treats customers for better business. Although the price looks good at first, the poor cleanliness, bad maintenance, lack of ventilation, and unprofessional management make it hard to recommend this place. There are many other homestays nearby that offer a much better experience, so I strongly suggest looking into those instead.

To make matters worse, the room had virtually no ventilation apart from the entrance door, making it feel stuffy and uncomfortable. The television, despite being advertised as a smart TV, was non-functional for the duration of my stay.The bathroom presented an even greater concern. Insects were emerging directly from the drainage outlet, which raised serious questions about the property's hygiene and maintenance standards.When I brought these issues to the attention of the property owner, I was met with an unprofessional and discourteous response. I was told that no alternative rooms were available. However, I noticed that the same property continued accepting bookings on multiple online hotel booking platforms for the same dates. When I questioned this contradiction, the owner casually remarked that he would simply refuse check-in if those guests arrived because he had no vacant rooms.The conversation became even more disappointing when the owner stated, "You should be happy that I'm giving you a room for 700 per night. At that price, I can't even recover my laundry and electricity costs." Interestingly, even a month later, the property continues to advertise rooms at virtually the same price. If the tariff were genuinely unsustainable, one would expect the rates to have been revised rather than the guests being made to feel responsible for the property's pricing decisions.While the room rate may initially seem attractive, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, inadequate ventilation, and unprofessional attitude of the management make this property difficult to recommend. There are several other homestays in the vicinity that offer a far better experience. I would strongly advise prospective travellers to explore those alternatives instead.
