It was a quite good budget-friendly stay. The service and staff were very friendly and polite. The location near the fort was easy to reach, and auto rickshaws are available, costing between 700 to 1200 (depending on the season). The breakfast was also excellent, and I recommend trying the rooftop dining area, where you'll receive great service compared to room service.Overall all was good specially Chittorgarh city is good and Friendly people we meet ’’

I stayed a few days ago in this hotel with my family. The best part of our room was the scenic view of chitorgarh fort. Otherwise the room walls were very moist and the paint layer was getting detached. The TV was not working even after so many complaints. The phone was out of service. The bedseet and the blanket were stained and torn out. The staff member himself gave us a wrong card with mobile number for any comlaint and then he refused later for doing so. All the staff were very unprofessional. Resturant staff was good and cooperative.

My recent stay at the Hotel Kumbha Retreat was an incredibly frustrating experience defined by a severe lack of staff and customer service. Potential guests should be aware: this hotel is effectively running on a self-service model.’The most shocking aspect of the operation is that the entire establishment appears to be run by a single individual’the receptionist. This meant that while they were physically present at the front desk, any attempt to obtain essential services elsewhere was met with immediate failure.’Attempting to call for room service or request basic amenities was a pointless exercise. On multiple occasions, I was told that all other personnel were simultaneously unavailable, often with the rather unbelievable excuse that "everybody is at lunch/dinner at the same time." Other times, the request was just met with a direct, unhelpful refusal. This suggests a complete breakdown of internal services and a failure to prioritize guest needs.’The rooms themselves were acceptable, or "ok," as I would put it’clean enough to sleep in, but nothing special. However, the receptionist's uncooperative attitude significantly soured the stay. There was zero sense of hospitality, and dealing with even the simplest requests felt like an imposition.’’If you enjoy paying full price for a hotel experience but prefer to carry your own bags, handle your own fetching, and generally manage your stay without assistance, then the Hotel Kumbha Retreat is for you. Otherwise, I strongly advise finding accommodation elsewhere until their staffing and service model undergoes a radical overhaul.

The room walls are not neately painted and the bedsheets towels are claimed to be clean but have lot of spots. Due to diwali festival there were shortage of staff and services were severely hampered. Lift do not stop at 3 if called from the 3rd floor. My old age parents face problem. View from rooftop restaurant is good but the quantity of food and quality of food depends on the no of visitors. We have to return the chowmine as it was half cooked and then we were forced to pay but on protesting they finally agreed.
