Very Good Experience
We stayed in this hotel on our way towards Vaishno Devi. The Room in which we stayed didn’t match up with the facade. Services were also a bit on the slower side. We had to ask 2-3 times for drinking water, although we didn’t order any food. The reception staff was helpful and friendly, though.

Couple • Apr 2026I had a very disappointing experience at Maharaja Inn.The overall condition of the room was extremely poor. There was very little lighting, making it uncomfortable to stay. The wall paint was in bad condition, giving a neglected and unhygienic feel.Cleanliness was unacceptable ’ bedsheets, pillows, and quilts were dirty, with visible burn marks on them. The curtains were dirty and their rope was broken. We also noticed small cockroaches in the room, which is completely unacceptable.There was no proper geyser in the room. The geyser connection was somewhere else, making it highly inconvenient. Getting hot water was a struggle ’ we had to waste at least 2 buckets of water just to get warm water.The cupboard smelled very bad, and overall maintenance was poor. There was also no setup box panel, so the TV was not functional.Service was equally disappointing. There was no room service at all ’ no one came to provide even basic things like drinking water. When we requested cleaning, they agreed, but no proper cleaning was done afterward.Additionally, there was a lack of basic amenities such as a shaving kit, dental kit, comb, etc., which are expected in a decent hotel.Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel unless they seriously improve their hygiene, maintenance, and service.
