Worst experience ever! Absolutely unacceptable service and extremely unhygienic rooms.The moment I entered the room, I found cockroaches crawling around. To make matters worse, the bed linens had clearly not been changed after the previous guest and looked dirty and used. Despite reporting it immediately, I had to wait over 30 minutes just to get fresh linens.I do recommend this for anyone who wants a comfortable stay

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the overall service was excellent. A special thanks to Duty Manager Gouri Shanker for his kindness and professionalism in upgrading our room, which made our experience even more memorable. Truly appreciate the hospitality and support throughout the stay. Highly recommended!

A good hotel centrally located in Visakhapatnam. The restaurant is good with nice and serene ambience. Breakfast options/dishes are also good and delicious, but the quality of Thali is not good. If one expects a good thali here, he will be greatly disappointed. I conveyed my dissatisfaction to the staff about the Thali here, but the same has not improved at any time.

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Meghalaya. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing experience overall. One of the highlights was the buffet breakfast ’ a good spread with both South Indian and North Indian options, fresh, tasty, and well-presented. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring everything was taken care of smoothly.A nice place for both business and family stays. Would definitely recommend for the comfort and the satisfying breakfast experience.

I have been a regular customer of Meghalaya Hotel, frequently dining at Vaishali Restaurant and occasionally at Embers Fine Dine & Bar. After a long gap, we visited again on the occasion of Sankranti and this experience was extremely disappointing.The Achari Paneer Tikka was acceptable, but the Cut Mirchi Biryani was a complete disaster. It was not spicy at all and had absolutely no flavor. It felt like eating plain rice. This dish used to taste good earlier, but now the quality has clearly gone downhill. What made the experience worse was the pathetic service. While the person serving us was standing right in front of us, I clearly mentioned that the food was not good and that I could not find any flavor in it. He heard everything, yet showed zero concern or response completely careless and indifferent. There was no attempt to address the issue, no explanation, and no replacement offered. Only while we were leaving did he casually say ’sorry,’ which felt meaningless and purely for formality.Adding to this, the bill was brought to the table without us even asking for it, clearly giving the impression that the staff wanted us to leave and did not want us to order anything further.This level of food quality and service is unacceptable, especially from a place that once had a decent reputation. This visit was a complete letdown, and unless serious improvements are made, this is no longer a place I would recommend.
