The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a superb spread and a great variety of delicious dishes. Special appreciation to Dileep, Raju, Hriati and Prerona for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. They went the extra mile to take care of my child, which made our experience even more comfortable and memorable. A heartfelt thanks to the chef for the wonderfully prepared and flavorful dishes. Truly a delightful dining experience.

Welcome oceanic restaurant made my late hour dine memorable. Mr. Dileep Kumar made it more with a warm greeting and attentive service. Chef's special murgh dum biryani is awesome. Staff around are well mannered. Thank you.

I have stayed at ITC Welcomhotel Grand Bay, Visakhapatnam multiple times in the past and generally had a pleasant experience. However, my most recent stay was disappointing and far below the standards I expect from a luxury hotel.1.Room HygieneThe room cleanliness was not up to standard. The bed linen appeared either not to have been changed properly or had been unused for a long period. Shortly after using it, I experienced facial irritation, mild skin allergy, and body discomfort. I immediately informed the reception team, and to their credit, they promptly replaced the linen with fresh bedding, which resolved the issue. I appreciate their quick response, but such a basic hygiene issue should never occur in a premium hotel.2.Poor Night Shift Service ExperienceThis was the most frustrating part of my stay.Earlier in the evening, I ordered room service from Kai Restaurant and had a good dining experience. Later at night, I felt hungry and wanted to order food from outside, as the hotel had limited late-night options available. Before placing the order, I specifically checked with the hotel staff, who informed me that outside deliveries were permitted and could be received at the hotel.Based on that information, I placed an order. When the delivery arrived, a staff member initially went downstairs to collect it. However, I then received a call from the reception desk informing me that the order would not be sent to my room and that I would need to come downstairs and collect it myself. This was surprising, especially since the process had already been initiated by the staff.What made the situation worse was receiving another call later in the middle of the night requesting my identity proof. The timing and manner of the request felt unnecessary and poorly handled. If verification was required, it could have been done at check-in or communicated professionally at a more appropriate time.Luxury hospitality is not just about rooms and facilities’it is about judgment, communication, consistency, and guest experience. Unfortunately, the handling of this situation reflected a lack of professionalism and customer sensitivity.I hope the management reviews the training and service standards of the night shift team, because the experience I had during this stay was not what one would expect from a hotel carrying the ITC name.I genuinely hope this was an isolated incident, as my previous stays at this property have been much better.
