Hotel Nehrus

Very disappointing breakfast experience. The receptionist and the display board clearly mentioned that breakfast would start at 8:00 AM, but even by 9:00 AM it had not started. This wasted a lot of our time, especially since we had to leave for the airport.To make matters worse, the food was still not ready and was prepared in a hurry after we arrived. We were also charged ’450 per person, even though we had been informed earlier that the breakfast buffet would cost ’315 per person.Poor time management, confusing pricing, and unprepared service. If you have an early flight or other plans, please be aware and don't rely on the breakfast timing they advertise.

Hotel Nehru is an excellent choice, especially for families traveling with elderly or handicapped members. The biggest advantage is that the lift opens directly into the car parking area, making it very easy to transport a wheelchair or assist an elderly person from the car to the room on any floor without any difficulty.This thoughtful accessibility feature made our trip to Srinagar much more comfortable. Since I was traveling with a handicapped family member, we truly appreciated the convenience and were able to enjoy our stay and sightseeing around Dal Lake without unnecessary stress.The hotel is located right in front of Dal Lake, offering beautiful views and easy access to the lakefront. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Nehru for its excellent location, accessibility, and comfort, especially for families with senior citizens or differently abled members.

Wonderful Stay experience at Hotel Nehrus, DAL LAKE, SrinagarStaying at hotel Nehrus Situated athe Boulevard, DAL LAKE Srinagar (Kashmir), State- J&K India, 190001 was truely a memorable experience. Specially, did not deny that the location of the hotel unbeatable. The arcitexture & total supreme interiors embrace a classic & nostalgic. Another side of the hotel their all service staffs and also Reservation Manager were warm and always ready to any type of help, making us feel comfortable throughout the stay. They are very much obedient, co-operate & hard workers. The latest highlight of the hotel is its breath taking Dal Lake facing location. Secondly, the all rooms were mostly semifurnished and the traditional hospitality. Hotel restuarants food was very much hygenic, delicious and presentation with resonable price than other hotels. Natural beauty and peacefull atmoshphere around the hotel.’Now, I highly recomended for any families & coligues at the timing of visiting/travelling Kashmir, this particular hotel. The hospitality is not only affordable but also warm and welcoming, creating a comfortable, homely atmosphere. It genuinely feels like a home away from home’highly recommended for anyone seeking both convenience and comfort.

This is the best hotel we stayed in Kashmir. Best location, best view, best food, and the garden is really great. And staff is really good here. We actually lost our diamond ring in the room, and after checkout the cleaning staff found it and contacted us, and returned the ring. Which tells a lot about the people managing this hotel. I'll definitely come to this hotel again. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Aqib, he's such a generous and humble guy. He helped us a lot with our stay.
