Hotel O Indra Comforts

I had a confirmed reservation (Booking ID: YJ445423) at Hotel O Indra Comforts, Mysuru via OYO. I traveled with my wife and two kids expecting a hassle-free check-in, but the hotel told me they couldn't honor my booking due to overbooking. Instead of the room I booked, they asked me to move to another place by paying an extra ₹500. I called OYO support for over an hour while my family waited outside. Even after explaining I was with two young children and was open to any alternative accommodation in Mysuru, no real help was given. OYO eventually refunded my money, but that doesn't make up for the stress, inconvenience, safety worries, and disruption to my family. A confirmed booking should mean just that. This experience makes me question OYO's overbooking policies, their coordination with partner hotels, and their emergency customer support. I hope they fix these issues so no other family goes through this. Based on this, I can't recommend booking with OYO until improvements are made.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Although they take online reservations, upon arrival they say all reserved rooms are taken and try to force you into a pricier option. The service is awful—after giving you the key, they show no concern for guests. If you want a terrible stay and lots of frustration, this is the hotel to choose.

This is the worst place you could stay. The beds and pillows seem like they are 20 years old, covered in every kind of stain imaginable. But that's only a small part of the problem. The biggest issue is the service and hospitality, especially if you're with your partner or family. You'll feel scared the entire time. The reception staff look like troublemakers, and there are usually about 15 men hanging out in front of the hotel, many of whom are high or smoking. You might feel the need to carry a weapon for your safety if you stay here. The room is small for two people. When I stayed as three, they gave me that old spare bed and made me sleep right by the bathroom door. They didn't provide any blanket, pillow, or bed cover. We had to call multiple times and wait for hours to get a blanket, only to be told excuses like the staff just started their shift or the previous person was on dinner break. This happened around 11:30 pm. If you want to prank a friend with a near-death experience, this is the place to book.

They said my room was already taken I had to pay around 700 more to get a new room.

The receptionist appeared intoxicated and was unable to speak clearly. I reserved a double room for 1122/-, but at check-in they demanded an additional 1000. This feels like a scam.
