I stayed at SK Legacy near the Mysore Zoo on June 22nd during my visit to Mysore. I chose this hotel because it is located just a few meters away from the zoo and museums. The location is excellent, with multiple good restaurants and local shops nearby. The only negative aspect for me was the absence of a tap and bucket in the bathroom. This made it a bit difficult to bathe my baby, so we had to manage with the hand shower instead.

This hotel engaged in highly deceptive practices during our stay, specifically targeting my family when we were most vulnerable.Bait-and-Switch Pricing: We were subjected to an unannounced, 100% price increase upon arrival. The management justified this sudden rate doubling by claiming it was "peak season," forcing us to pay under duress because we were traveling with young children late at night.No Proof of Payment/No Invoices: We were charged extra for early check-in and the inflated room rate, yet the hotel refused to issue a single receipt or bill. This lack of financial transparency is highly suspect and a clear violation of standard business regulations.Hostile Environment: The staff was incredibly rude, and basic amenities/room service were completely absent.If you are traveling with family, avoid this hotel. Their business model relies on exploiting travelers in difficult situations.
