Hotel O Madhyamgram Railway Junction Formerly Dreamland

I made a booking, but they increased the charges unexpectedly.

The place was filthy; the bed sheets, pillows, and bathroom all had unpleasant odors. It was a really terrible experience 😢

Super Hotel O by OYO (previously Hotel Dreamland) is located conveniently on the Madhyamgram Chowmatha-Basu Nagar road, but the overall stay is disappointing. The rooms are small, dirty, and never cleaned properly; even after asking for fresh linen, the replacements were just as dirty. I had to use my own bedsheet and towel. Service is lacking - the reception is staffed by a young man who is constantly on his phone. The only positive is the newly installed AC, which functions well. Unfortunately, with limited accommodation choices in Madhyamgram, this hotel manages to maintain very poor standards. If you must stay here, bring your own bedsheets, towels, and keep your expectations very low.

The worst third-class dirty hotel I have ever encountered. The room was small and filthy. The washroom was dirty and had a bad smell. Very disappointing. I would never visit this hotel again. They charged 1000 to 1500 rupees, but the service felt like it was worth only 300 rupees, like a slum house. @oyo please check this place.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I reserved and paid for one room via the OYO app for three adults (my wife, my sister-in-law, and myself). My sister-in-law had an important exam the next day. At check-in, the hotel staff said that two women and one man couldn't share a room and insisted we book two separate rooms. We reached out to OYO customer service, and after nearly an hour, they sorted it out. Meanwhile, despite the heat, the hotel didn’t even provide a fan. The room was filthy. The bedsheet had cigarette burns, hair, and tiny cockroach-like bugs. We had to clean the bed ourselves and use our own sheet. The pillows and blanket were so dirty we avoided using them. The curtain on the glass window only covered about half the window. The bathroom was the worst. When I used the toilet, I was shocked by how dirty it was! After I complained, the staff finally cleaned it. The commode cover kept sliding, and the bathroom lock was broken from the outside. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
