We had a great 4-night stay at Hotel Plazainn by Rio during our Goa trip. We were two couples traveling with two little kids (1.5 and 1.8 years old), and it was a very budget-friendly and comfortable stay.The staff were very supportive ’ they even helped cook baby food and provided milk, which made feeding the kids easy and allowed us to enjoy our vacation peacefully. We opted for breakfast daily, and it was absolutely worth it. The service and hospitality were truly appreciated.The location is another big advantage, as Calangute Beach and the nearby market are easily accessible, making it convenient to explore everything around.The only concern was that the windows do not have metal rods, which may feel slightly unsafe if not locked properly from inside. We request the management to consider improving this for better guest safety.Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would recommend it for a budget-friendly Goa trip. Go for it!

Got a low standard room for high rate, service was worst (i asked for towel and water bottles for n number of times then they served and the service guy throw the towel while we sit inside of the room)

The hotel itself is perfect in every way ’ very good price, excellent service, clean rooms, and overall a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend the hotel only for stay.However, our experience with the cruise booking done through the hotel was extremely disappointing and felt like a scam.We were charged ’1300 per adult and ’750 for our 5-year-old child. We were told that a bus would pick us up from the hotel and take us to the cruise location, which it did. But inside the bus, only 2 seats were reserved, even though we were three people.After reaching there, we were given pink tickets and informed that our cruise was a small cruise and that we were not allowed to enter the big cruise, which costs ’2000. We were told the small cruise costs ’1500, whereas the actual market price of the cruise is only ’900 per adult and FREE for kids up to 5 years.Despite already paying extra, we were again asked to pay ’600 more to enter the cruise. Even after that, we were given only 2 entry passes and only 2 food plates, even though we were three people.This was a pathetic and very upsetting experience. We came from Delhi to Goa as tourists, and such a thing completely ruins the trust and holiday experience. A clear scam has been done, and the hotel should take responsibility for the third-party services they recommend and sell to guests.Advice to future guests:Hotel stay is good, but DO NOT book any cruise or tour packages through the hotel. Book directly from authorized cruise counters only.
