Room cleanness was okey however washroom cleanness was pathetic.. door was not opening and closing properly, water was flowing everywhere , no toilet tissue paper and many more
The reception staff was rude, untrained and probably uneducated on the approach required in hospitality industry. First the confusion regarding how many people In each room resulted in an argument with rude comments made by staff (although its the fault of Agoda as well as when selecting two rooms and two adults my understanding was per room will be two). Although staff agreed that i immediately called hotel after booking to confirm this over the phone (infact they had recorded my call the earlier day and hense agreed its a fault from their side).All this could have been sorted out later but they decided to do so at the time of the checkin - while my guests are waiting in the lobby. Their lack of education in judging a guest is the biggest concern. Eg. The watch i was wearing is probably more expensive than the cost of the hotel. Or the fact that we were coming from Mumbai. They decided to take the additional charges, then and there itself rather than at the time of the checkout. While the serving staff was very cordial, tea was excellent, the corridor was extremely noisy.The view was horrendous and they intentionally gave me those rooms but it seemed they will enjoy another round of argument which i decided not to indulge them.Location is extremely filthy with two cess pits filled with mosquitoes breeding pools right at the entrance. It is nearly a 30 minute walk to mahakal corridor.A brief history - One of the most negative vibe hotel you can find because the owner made it with black money (got assassinated) and in some ways, they are not supposed to be running the operations legally. A quick chatgpt search with hotel name will give you the result.
Everything was proper and khichidi was provided which is good for fasting but breakfast is not tasty
