Hotel Sita

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sita. The location was perfect for exploring the ghats. The views are unforgettable. The food is delicious. And the staff are all very helpful and eager to accommodate my travel needs.

The only real advantage of this hotel is its location. It is situated right on the ghat, making all the other ghats easily accessible on foot. The staff helped carry the luggage, as the property is about 650 meters from the main road and cannot be reached by vehicle. The rooms were average but the balcony view was absolutely amazing.

Hotel Sita is truly one of the best places to stay in Varanasi. Located on Chousatti Ghat, it is just a 1-minute walk from Dashashwamedh Ghat, yet it offers such a peaceful and serene ambience. The soft music at night and the wonderful live artists on the ghats create a magical atmosphere. The hotel is a perfect blend of traditional Banaras charm with modern amenities. Our room was absolutely ’? clean, comfortable, and offered an amazing view of the Ganges from both sides, along with a beautiful balcony. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. Special thanks to Sourav Sharma ji and Vishnu for their warm guidance and assistance throughout our stay. Although you need to walk through narrow lanes to reach the hotel, the staff readily help with luggage whenever required.The rooftop restaurants is a bonus, which serves delicious vegetarian food, and the view from there is simply breathtaking.Honestly, I can’t think of a better place to stay whenever I’m in Benaras. Highly recommended! ’’?

First of a all, SITA is located at a prime dream place at Varanasi... Facing the Ganges on one of the ghats. If this is one of your priority.. For sure it met our standards.Beyond that... Everything is substandard... From service to cleanliness... Food. V. Basic food. Any way we can find good food around this place, if we walk for less than one km.But there are days, we wanted to have in the hotel... Nothing much is available..Housekeeping Staff... They don't have enough. Not to expect much. Sometimes they are indifferent too... Unless you constantly demand them to do.Roof top overlooking Ganges is their plus point... But beware of lot of insects and mosquitos during bird migration.Manager Mr Pandey is approachable...The whole stay of ours here, is a blessing in disguise... With few pluses and minuses.One blessing is knowing Vishnu, who works here and can be our guide too. Such a friendly and informative guy.. Who knows Benaras like back of his hand. About all the gallies, ancient temples other than the main temples.That is what i wanted, being a regular goer to varanasi.This stay has a lot of potential, if they improve the standards. But it looks like they are not at all interested. They are just backing on "location"which is not everything for many.Vishnu and one or two front office people are the ones we can rely... To some extent.So identify what you need.. And book accordingly. With elders big "No"They have lift.
