If you plan to visit Shree Ambabai Temple in Kolhapur, this is a great place to stay. The price is very reasonable; an AC room for two costs just 2k and includes car parking. The temple is nearby, about a 10-minute walk from the hostel. Also, it costs only 30 rupees for three people to get there.

My stay at Hotel Tulsi in Kolhapur was very pleasant. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are tidy, clean, and well-kept. The bathroom was particularly spotless, and the room included all essential amenities like towels, shampoo, soap, and a kettle with tea and coffee packets. The hotel lacks an on-site restaurant, but the staff is happy to provide tea or coffee upon request. For meals, we used Swiggy, and the staff kindly supplied plates and cutlery, which was considerate. The service was notably good, with courteous and helpful staff always willing to assist. A major benefit is the private parking in the basement levels (-1 and -2), with basement -2 accessible by a car lift, ensuring convenient and secure parking. Overall, Hotel Tulsi is great value for money, and its location is convenient, being just a 10–15 minute walk from the Mahalakshmi Temple. I would definitely suggest it for anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, and affordable stay in Kolhapur.
