Hotel Vasundhara Palace Rishikesh

Rooms on the first floor are nicer, and the view on the third floor is much better.Get a room with the mountain view vs the road view. Avoid room 101, it's next to the kitchen and very loud. One can hear the chairs from the room above move around, so if you want a calm and quiet experience, get the third floor.The fridge is loud in the room. I unplugged it to make it quiet.Fantastic view of the bridge from the third floor rooms.The restaurant was our canteen - ate at the place at least once a day. Solid food.Favorites:- vegetable chowman (ask for extra cabbage)- green salad- sweet corn soupSolid- vegetable biryani- parpadums (all of them are great)- bhindi do pyaza (okra)So so- honey pancake. More like roti with honey on it- vegetable fried rice. A bit blandSkip:- margarita pizza. It came with olives and didn't look/taste appetizing.- hot and sour soup. Not as good as the Chinese version

I wasn’t staying at the hotel, I just came here to eat because a local recommended the restaurant to me. And I was truly impressed ’ I had the best Kadai Paneer of my life here! I’ll definitely come back again during my stay.

Hotel Vasundhara Palace is located a short walk away from Mother Ganga (100-150m).The hotel has been upgraded with modern rooms and amenities.The staff are welcoming and always willing to lend a hand.I had a chance to meet Mrs. Surbhi Sood (Manager). Surbhi Ji was very accommodating and helpful.The food is excellent and the staff go beyond what is expected.We had arrived pretty late after travelling almost 24 hours , most eat outs were closed however the staff at Vasundhara accommodated us at 10:30PM ensuring we had a proper meal before going to bed.Overall great place to stay in Rishikesh.

The Vasundhara palace hotel is located at walking distance of Janki Jhula Bridge and the Janki Setu. The river area was walkable distance. The hotel is new and well maintained and had a clean spacious look through out. We were a group of 11 persons on a pilgrimage trip on had a wonderful twonight stay at Vasundhara Palace.Rooms are also spacious and clean with all amenities. The toilets were very clean modern and the towels were spotless shower facilities were comfortable. The bed was very cozy, the chairs comfortable and the linen and they were very clean and spot less. The room service was very prompt and quick.We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which had a lot of varieties and had multiple options. The restaurant had indoor seating as well as open air and food was delicious throughout.The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. What I really liked is the modern d??cor and the common areas well kept. Truly a great experience and highly recommended for stay in Rishikesh. What made the whole stay very comfortable was the excellent service at the reception, the room service and at the restaurants and friendly staff.
