Great value and friendly staff. Accommodating. Expect authentic experience, and not necessarily a luxury experience. Hotel mangers and sales representatives were very accommodating.
We booked this resort expecting a relaxing family stay, but it was a complete disaster.False Advertising: The listing explicitly promised a swimming pool. Upon arrival, there was no swimming pool available.Hostile Service: When we raised this issue, the owner refused to take responsibility. They blamed Agoda for the listing error and told us, "Leave if you want."Refusal to Cooperate: We decided to check out early and requested a checkout confirmation email to process a refund through Agoda. The owner arrogantly refused to provide any written confirmation.Stranded with Children: Because it was already very late and we were traveling with small children, with no option left we decided to stay instead of being stranded at night.Terrible Food Service: The food preparation time was unacceptably long. We eventually had to order food from outside just to feed our hungry children.Avoid this place if you value customer service, honesty, or a stress-free vacation. They do not care about guests or basic hospitality.
Sir all was good at Jharna resort. However there was one big issue. I had booked the rooms with breakfast on your site but to my surprise the resort kept giving us breakfast daily with an impression that it's complementary with no information of rate list of breakfast items. On the day of checkout we were given a bill for breakfast with high charges without logic. Mineral bottles were charged Rs.50 each wheas they cost Rs.20. Tea was charged Rs.50 each cup which is again more than double the cost around. Shocking was the thing when a small bread with butter was charged Rs.200/- each piece. Masala omlette was charged Rs.150/-, Poha again Rs.150/-. A total bill for such basic things were charged as if we have had breakfast in USA in dollars. This tantamounts to pure day light looting from guests. The bills given for breakfast were all kaccha bills with no logic of rating such basic breakfast items. Wifi never worked here as was mentioned while booking. These 2 things were a total off. Manager here was a clueless person with no information. Whenever we requested for plates or food like lunch or dinner he told us to have it outside but breakfast he served with exorbitant rates. This was a day light fraud done with us. We need a refund on these illogical charges and also on the wifi which never worked. Else we would be forced to go to consumer forum against the property which has listed wrong information with breakfast and wifi.
