The resort is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting, surrounded by nature and offering stunning views that make it a perfect getaway from city life. The location is definitely one of its biggest strengths.The hospitality of the staff was commendable. Everyone was courteous, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property is well-maintained, and the serene atmosphere adds to the overall charm of the resort.The only area that needs improvement is the availability of manpower. Due to a shortage of staff, there were occasional delays in service, especially during busy hours. While the staff did their best and remained polite throughout, the waiting time could be reduced with better staffing.Overall, I would highly recommend LaHermitage Resort, Lansdowne for its excellent location, warm hospitality, and relaxing ambiance. I recently had a very enjoyable stay at LaHermitage Resort in Lansdowne. The resort is set in a tranquil and scenic environment, surrounded by nature and offering breathtaking views, making it an ideal escape from urban life. The location is definitely one of its greatest assets. The staff's hospitality was praiseworthy. Everyone was polite, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made our visit comfortable and pleasant. The property is well-kept, and the peaceful ambiance enhances the resort's overall appeal. The only aspect that could be improved is the staffing levels. Because of a limited number of employees, there were some delays in service, particularly during peak times. Although the staff remained courteous and did their best, shorter wait times could be achieved with more personnel. In summary, I would strongly recommend LaHermitage Resort, Lansdowne for its superb location, friendly service, and calming atmosphere. With faster service, it would be an even better experience.

We were on a road trip to Lansdowne and found this resort through an online search (online marketing definitely worked here). However, the reality is different: it is not the four-star resort claimed by travel apps. The room service and housekeeping felt more like two-star quality. The views from the resort are stunning, giving a raw jungle vibe, with amazing sunsets and sunrises. The pool is located at the hilltop, creating an infinity pool feel. The food was the worst part: breakfast quality was comparable to what you'd find at railway platforms, and the dinner buffet was very basic. One day, all dishes were oily; another day, the food was bland and tasteless. There was no hospitality, and the chef was shouting behind the restaurant door when a guest asked for an omelette at breakfast, saying something like "bhurji bana ke daali hai, khana hai toh Khao warna bhaago." The property, more like a jungle lodge than a resort, is built on a hilltop with multiple levels: cottages at the bottom, then reception, then restaurant, and the pool at the top. Moving between these levels is quite a workout. We booked two cottage rooms for four people. The rooms were decent but poorly maintained, with gaps in doors allowing reptiles and insects inside. Lizards and large spiders were our unwelcome roommates, making the first night sleepless. Due to monsoon, bushes and wild grass surrounded the cottages without trimming, encouraging these creatures. Surprisingly, the room intercom phones in cottages didn't work, which seemed intentional as they didn't respond to requests, likely due to lack of staff. There are 7-8 new rooms near reception with working intercoms and better service. We felt cheated paying extra for cottages over these deluxe rooms. The location is about 35 km from Lansdowne, so staying here is a destination itself, taking over 1.5 hours to reach Lansdowne. Vehicles are parked about 1 km downhill, and a 4x4 Bolero camper from the hotel takes you up, which is adventurous but uncomfortable for elderly guests. I wouldn't recommend this place for people over 60 or under 10 unless you bring their food and medicines. Overall, if the property had better maintenance, hospitality, service, and food quality, it could be excellent given the breathtaking views and jungle atmosphere. The property manager was humble and tried to help despite limited resources, so our stay wasn't bad but not good either. Lack of staff and poor upkeep are major issues. Don't expect four-star hospitality. Advice: Bring your own drinks, snacks, fruits, and general medicines as there are no nearby options.

A perfect spot for those who love forests and tranquility. The location is fantastic and the staff are excellent. The pool at the summit offers an extraordinary experience. Strongly recommended. #Jungleresort

Not recommended if you are travelling with family.Its a budget facility fit for solo or max for couples.They have a really nice staff though so hospitality is great.
