We stayed for one night. The room was clean and comfortable. The toilet was quite big. The owner and staff were exceptionally helpful

My name is Kishore. Over the past 7 years, I have travelled with my wife and kids across 12 states and stayed in around 35 hotels. Until now, I have never faced such a terrible experience as I did with my recent booking through Agoda.I had made a confirmed booking with the Pay at Hotel option. The booking was clearly confirmed, and I have evidence of this. However, when we arrived at the hotel with my wife and two children, the staff refused to honor the booking.They claimed that they had asked Agoda for an advance payment and, since there was no reply, they cancelled the booking. This explanation is completely unacceptable because:I never received any call, or message,from the hotel about this.The booking still shows as active/confirmed on Agoda.The hotel staff left us on the street with our luggage, causing huge distress to my family.To make matters worse, the hotel owner, Renoy George, and her mother behaved extremely rudely. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they shouted at us, unfairly blamed us, and showed no concern for the fact that we were traveling with children. Their behavior was unprofessional, insulting, and deeply disappointing. I have also recorded their conversation as proof.This is not just a mistake ’ it is fraudulent and unethical behavior. It is shocking that Agoda allows such hotels to operate on your platform without accountability.I request immediate action on the following:1. Investigation of this hotel’s fraudulent and unprofessional conduct.2. Compensation for the inconvenience and harassment caused to my family.3. Written assurance that Agoda will prevent such practices and hold this hotel accountable.Please note, I come from a family of five lawyers. If this issue is not addressed responsibly, I will be forced to escalate it legally against both the hotel and Agoda.

The service provided by the hotel is very good. The friendly nature of owner is to be appreciated.The rooms are well maintained. The hotel is easily accessible from the main munnar town.Will defintely visit the hotel again.
