Le Vista Resort

Nice place to stay with a fairly good breakfast. Some points to note: there are no evening snacks or horlicks/boost available for children. Dinner cannot be ordered at the resort. Mosquito control is needed. Additionally, cottages should have windows fitted with insect mesh.

Great spot

The resort, run by a friendly couple, is situated in a peaceful setting with cozy villa-style cottages, and the home-cooked breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend it. 🥰

We spent one night at this place, which is conveniently near the Interpretation Centre of Muthanga wildlife sanctuary, likely the main benefit of staying here. Located on a small hill surrounded by coffee plantations, the property has four cottages, each with basic amenities like hot running water, functioning AC, and access to a shared swimming pool. It's a small property but run well by a family. However, keep in mind this is not a resort but more like a homestay or retreat. Currently, there is no in-house kitchen, so food must be ordered via Swiggy or Zomato, which deliver from at least 10 km away. The owner later mentioned that home-cooked meals can be arranged on request. Breakfast is provided in a cozy setting. There is a simple play area for children to enjoy outdoor activities. If you expect resort-level luxury, this is not the place. Improvements could include staff to help with luggage, credit card payment options, an intercom to contact reception, and some basic amenity kits.

Our family recently visited Le Vista Resort and had a very enjoyable time. We loved the abundant greenery, the calm environment, and how well Umesh and his family took care of the place. Their friendly hospitality made our visit even more special. We highly suggest Le Vista Resort for anyone seeking a peaceful and pleasant retreat.
