Leo Wooden Resort

We stayed here 2 days back for 2 nights,Location was super as it was just a backside of river. Morining getting up and go to listen the river music with birds.it was great.1.Room- non wooden room I opted as it was big n clean.( no good view) .Wooden was little small but River can be seen through wooden room .2. Breafast- was complimentary, but found very less options given the price charges for room , no juice, no cornflakes. The surprise thing , limited time for breakfast as it starts by 8:30 am and ends at 9:30, we requested then they increased it till 10. Taste was ohk ohk. Breakfast cutlery was not provided, it was use n throw plates which was made of plastic even they were hot sambhar also in plastic bowls(use n throw). Could be avoided. Less staff member to handle cleaning during breakfast time.3. Lunch& Dinner - we had order after arrival at resort, roti n curry n rice was good n tasty. only it take little extra time as I mentioned staff was less. Pizza was not eatable.Overall good stay few above things needs to modifies.like breakfast menu n time needs to increase with cutlery.RO water was not available. Only packed bottle. Service time need to decrease by adding more staff for pick hours

My Sis n Bro-in-law have visited twice already. So brought me n mom this time. The place is difficult to get to; but totally worth it. Not v cheap, if you ask me. But good experience. Staff are helpful, food is good. One nepali guy makes great 'milk coffee', I had it twice a day every day. Lovely place to hang out after dinner. I did not try the swimming pool, but will do next time. I strongly recommend. Uncle who runs the place is a kindly soul too.

This property is a must visit for those who want to experience what it's like to hear the sounds of the ever flowing Tungbhadra while you fall asleep, sit for hours at their inhouse cafe taking in the panoramic scene (because quite literally it takes an hour for food to arrive, so you need to be patient) and really lose yourself to the surrounding nature. Leo Wooden is a well manicured resort with courteous staff and is one of the more accessible properties by road, as compared to its neighbours- Hampi Feathers and Whiskers. The electricity may go off unannounced but that didn't bother us until it went off in the middle of the night for at least 30-45 minutes. This could be an issue in the hotter, less touristy months. Overall, it was a good stay and the location of the property is its biggest highlight.

I had booked for a single night and later extended for another day. Place is very beautiful away from crowd, peaceful. You can listen the chirping of birds especially peacock the whole day.It's on the bank of the river Tungabhadra.Indian breakfast options are limited. If it is improved then it is good.The owner and the staff are very hospitable. Gave good suggestions about tourist places nearby.
