Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the MoneyMy stay was unfortunately very disappointing, and there were multiple reasons behind this unsatisfactory experience. Considering the price paid, the overall service, cleanliness, facilities, and room experience were far below expectations.1. No Early Check-in – Inconvenient for Public Transport TravellersAlmost every hotel in Pondicherry follows a 2:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out, which is understandable as a standard hotel policy. However, Pondicherry is a major tourist destination where many visitors arrive by train and bus early in the morning.Hotels should consider this situation and provide an early check-in option whenever rooms are available, even if an additional reasonable charge is applicable. Making travellers wait several hours after arriving in the morning, without providing any practical alternative, feels extremely inconvenient and frustrating for tourists.2. Sea-View Room Was Completely Different From What Was Shown During BookingThe sea-view room and view displayed during the booking process were completely different from what we actually experienced. The actual view did not justify the price paid for the room. This was particularly disappointing because the room was booked specifically expecting the sea-view experience shown online.In my opinion, the room presentation during booking should accurately represent the actual experience so that customers can make an informed decision.3. Basic Facilities Were Not Functioning ProperlySeveral basic facilities were either not working properly or were inadequate, including:Wi-Fi connectivityHot waterShower facilityThese are basic necessities that every guest expects to work properly, especially considering the room tariff. Having to deal with these issues during a short holiday stay significantly affected the overall experience.4. Excessive Use of Glass Inside the RoomThere was an excessive amount of glass installed inside the room. While this may have been intended as a modern interior design, it felt awkward and uncomfortable in practical use. The design did not provide the privacy and comfort expected from a hotel room.5. Cleanliness – The Biggest Reason for This Negative ReviewCleanliness was the biggest and most serious issue during our stay. This is the primary reason for my negative review.For any hotel, cleanliness and hygiene should be non-negotiable. Unfortunately, the cleanliness standards were not up to expectations. Considering the amount paid for the stay, I expected a much cleaner and better-maintained room and surrounding areas.Overall ExperienceOverall, the experience was not value for money. The combination of poor cleanliness, maintenance issues, non-functional basic facilities, the difference between the advertised and actual sea view, and the lack of flexibility for early-arriving tourists made the stay very disappointing.I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, particularly regarding cleanliness, maintenance, room representation, and guest convenience. Tourists come to Pondicherry to relax and enjoy their trip, and the hotel experience should add to that—not become another source of frustration.

This is one of the oldest property. The pictures in are taken before 6 years . Please don’t book those cheap hotel .
