Disclaimer - First thing don't consider the review of 5 and 4 star. They are their own people or some maybe fortunate enough to get expected claimed service . Read and consider only rating of 3 and below, these people are the one who will give you real experience of hotelI will give this place 3 star rating only because of my experience.When I reached hotel on January 02 at 11:30 AM, thr receptionist said I am allowing you to check in half an hour early before the usual time. Can you check out at 11:00 AM. I mean who asked like this on first day, It feels like they are not here for hospitality, rather they are doing it forcefully.The worst part to make sure check out will happen at their time, they will give you breakfast coupon morning at 8:00 AM when you will be in sleep, they can give this coupon during checkin time or day time also but intentionally they do thisMorever, lift was not working and room was average. One can get far better room at this price.Don't go in trap of complimentary breakfast, the breakfast was not good at all.Don't tried their food at restaurnant, the food is not good at all . More than that restaurnant staff behaviour is very rude. They talk in such a way as if you have taken their money. Especially I will recommend for not to try tea, I mean who put price of 67/- rupees for normal tea. If It is some good cafe, I can understand anf taste is also not so goodI recommend not to go in this hotel, since staff and hotel management runs this for money, not for hospitality.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 night. While renovation is under progress, one can expect some inconvenience. While location is pretty good, I felt complimentary breakfast is just ok. BF area was not in good shape, and a lot needs to be done. Food taste was ok/good.There was mild odor (sewage smell) in the lobby area's (and brief time in the room as well) not sure why. I asked reception to look into it but never got a revert on action.Service staff is good/decent, however reception staff needs some more courtesy. If a customer is asking for room service/housekeeping, telling him on the face that first checked-out room would be looked after, is bad. In pretext of servicing future guest, you are dis-servicing current guest. We had to push for house keeping.Parking is limited and while security staff is good/helpful, finding parking sometime can be challenging.Bed is comfy and in-fact extra bed as well. Hotel please work on extra-bed mattress as they are in bad shape due to folding nature of the bed.

1. The rooms are well-maintained after renovation. Both the air conditioner and ceiling fan function properly.2. An extra foldable bed is available at an additional charge. Mostly included while booking.3. The quality of the mattress and pillows is good.4. A dental kit is not provided.5. The complimentary breakfast buffet is very good. The staff is helpful, and the food is completely vegetarian.6. Early check-in is offered, subject to room availability.7. The waiting area near the reception is comfortable and has access to restrooms.8. A shaving mirror is not available in the washroom.9. The hotel has an in-house restaurant that also offers in-room dining. The restaurant serves only vegetarian food.10. An auto stand is available at the gate, and the hotel is located in a prime area with easy access to all essential amenities.

They have 4 branches in pondy and all the restaurants are always quite busy. Always crowded as the food quality taste is premium and good pure veg food. But price is bit high and no changes made in menu. From my childhood till now we have tried their whole menu in repeated way. Still go to place for my family for many special occasions. I had and have a beautiful memories and times we spent having their best sambar, idly, dosa varieties, south Indian dishes and my all time favorite north Indian, Chinese food too. I could say many things but I end shortly here because its personally been 30 years of memories I hold upon from this beautiful restaurant.
