Le Clarisse Guest House

The stay was very pleasant and secure. The location is excellent, close to Rock Beach. The staff were courteous and welcoming. Definitely worth the cost! Thanks to Sharmi for assisting us throughout our visit!

We enjoyed a fantastic 3-day visit at Le Clarisse and are rating it a full 5 stars. The hosts, Sharmi and Arokia, were extremely supportive during our trip, and the rest of the team was equally friendly and helpful. They organized our airport transfers to and from Chennai, making travel completely stress-free. They also provided great advice on local sightseeing, enriching our experience in Pondicherry. The complimentary breakfast was a standout — simple, homely, and very tasty. One morning featured a traditional South Indian meal with dosa, idli, vada, and kozhukattai alongside tea and coffee, and another day we enjoyed a western breakfast including butter and chocolate croissants, bread and butter, and omelette, again with tea and coffee. The rooms were well kept and included all the basics: a locker, fridge, balcony, TV, AC, and free Wi-Fi. The location is excellent, just a minute's walk from Rock Beach and close to the charming streets of White Town. They also kindly allowed us a late check-out, which made our final day more relaxed. What impressed us most was the genuine kindness of the staff — always friendly and ready to assist with anything we needed. Overall, our stay at Le Clarisse was cozy, inviting, and unforgettable. It's obvious the hosts truly care about making guests feel at home. We highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Pondicherry!
