Possibly they charge for location. Family room I was offered had strong smell of mold. Management was courteous enough to provide a different room and adjust the price difference by allowing us to order dinner at no cost. Staff was courteous as well. Food was quite average, both breakfast and dinner. After staying here and other hotels, I would recommend Hotels like Anandha Inn or Shenbaga, and travel to white town, than paying for location of this one.
The room was tidy and clean with good service. Breakfast was excellent. However, the room lacked a fan. Wifi on the first floor was quite weak. There was no parking available. The bathroom did not have a bucket, only a shower. The location is very close to the beach and key spots in the white town.
