One of the best parts of the stay was the home-like food’fresh, delicious, and comforting, just like meals cooked at home. The overall environment is peaceful and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.A special mention goes to the amazing staff who make the experience even better. Shubham, Bharat, Suresh, Vivek, and Rajkumar were incredibly helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. This place is a gem hidden in the heart of dehradun. The staff and the owner are very polite and friendly. We came for one day and stayed for 5 so one can imagine. It’s so quaint and quiet. I love everything about this property. The food is delicious, obviously try the kadhi and the rajma. Pet friendly and two cute goldies also live there.

Recently stayed here, a beautifully restored heritage home converted into a hotel. The property has a charming vintage feel, and overall structural maintenance of the building is good.The staff were very polite, courteous, and well-mannered. However, they appeared to lack proper hospitality training, possibly because many are not from a formal hotel background. With structured training, service standards can improve significantly.The food was average in taste and did not quite match the expectations set by the heritage positioning of the property.I faced a few concerning issues in my room. The window curtain rod fell on me’luckily, I was not injured. Additionally, the WC hand flush was not working, and despite informing the staff, the issue was not addressed during my stay. These are basic maintenance issues that require immediate attention.Another important observation was that after 10:30 PM, most of the building lights were switched off. When I stepped out of my room to see off a friend who had come to meet me, the entire property felt poorly lit and, honestly, quite unsettling’almost haunted in appearance. This is not the kind of experience one expects from a hotel, especially concerning guest comfort and safety.Also, there is no bell desk staff available to assist with luggage unless you specifically call and ask for help, which again impacts the overall guest experience.Overall, the property has good potential due to its heritage appeal, but improvements are needed in lighting management, room maintenance, food quality, staff training, and basic guest services to truly deliver a comfortable stay.
